It is my feeling that those rockets being launched are too small. What if every barrel could fire a Saturn V rocket? Better still, what if they could fire rapid-deployment land subs? This is one of my favorite Self-Propelled Rocket Artillery systems. We in the U.S. don't have anything close to the destructive power capable of such a machine. There are rockets for this that have a 258 kg High Explosive warhead, multiply that by 12 rockets, equals 3 tonnes of HE. Multiply that by 4 Smerches, equals total mayhem.

This is generally the case, people dont chose to go on the offensive with less troops unless the have vastly superior technology.

This is one of my favorite Self-Propelled Rocket Artillery systems. We in the U.S. don't have anything close to the destructive power capable of such a machine. There are rockets for this that have a 258 kg High Explosive warhead, multiply that by 12 rockets, equals 3 tonnes of HE. Multiply that by 4 Smerches, equals total mayhem.

Russians were pioneers of surface to surface missiles. Meaning that they had it when no other country used or even thought of them and have since mastered this aspect of modern warfare.
