I had some problems with the automounting, so i edited Fstab just as you described it, but now when i restarted PYSDM there are no partition (except for swap), what should i do?

I wen on bunker hollow blogs, they wanted me to edit fstab and create mount point manually, how would I know until having tried it, if it f**ed everything up?

@TatsuJB oh u ran into the fstab wall, lols yea the majority of the forum idiots still going with the long stoneage way, that is sure to mess up new users. The only ppl that really knows fstab by text is the ppl that use it often. I mean whocares about that crap. I just want to load my HDD to watch porn lmao

@gotbletu hey man I'm stuck, using disk utility made my drive automount like I wanted but now I lost root privileges to it (can't write) and I can't go back, I reset the settings, unistalled but fstab in plain text shows up blank! there's nothing! what do I do?

@gotbletu dude, I figured it out, I installed mountmanager, wich is better, I unmounted all drives and fstab could show up then I found another thread of a guy who put "vfat iocharset=utf8,umask=000 0 0" and had root privelages again... it worked!! I'm tring to get at using EXT4 for storage, do you think it's a no-go? Cuz' my fat formatting says it 32-bit read, wich I dislike...
