my top 20 scifi/ horror : the thing,alien aliens,hellraiser2,scarecrows,­the keep,rec2,the bunker,event horizion,screamers,the thing1951,nightmare on elm st.,childs play,night of the demons,relic,pitch black,C.H.U.D,exorcist,howling­,bablyon5(third space) THESE MOVIES ARE SCIFI/HORROR NOT SCIFI ACTION. @MONSTERMaNiMaL "Signs" is definitely one of the good ones. It has worn a little thanks to those "Scary Movie" films. When I saw "Signs" in the theater, people were screaming and all that; great experience. That UK alien film "Monsters" is good too. "Skyline" wasn't as bad as critics have said. I like it. Don't forget "Cloverfield", "District 9" and "The Mist" (Were the creatures in "The Mist" aliens? Who knows?) I am looking forward to "Battle: Los Angeles", "Sector 7", "Super 8" and "Gomera"

@MONSTERMaNiMaL Can't forget classics like "The War Of The Worlds" (1953) which is my personal favorite, "The Day The Earth Stood Still" (1951) and "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind". Not to mention modern classics like "Independence Day", "War Of The Worlds" (2005) and the genre busting alien invasion film "Save The Green Planet" from South Korea. Both "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" films are classics too. And the epic "Alien" is one of the biggest. Not to mention "Predator".

i can't believe nobody mentioned The Thing from 1982 ! that was a very very great alien movie. instead transformers is added in the top ! i dont understand. talking about Dreamcatcher, why didn't you mention The Mist from 2007 ?! this is not a great listing of alien movies

dreamcatcher is the most underrated movie ever... its sooo good. close encounters of the third kind should be on there, same with signs and pitch black... also, if you like creepy alien flicks, check out a made for tv movie from 1998 called incident in lake county: the macpherson abduction... it's cheesy at times but ultimately it's extremely creepy and will keep you from sleep for a little while

(pretty good. probably not my top ten though) Predator (Great action flick) The arrival (actual havent seen it) Critters (only saw part of it, but it was lots of fun) Transformers (Pretty decent film, but not great) Dreamcatcher (never saw it) batteries not included (Never saw that either) Alien nation (classic) Starman (never saw that either) E.T. (Everyone loves E.T. Classic)
