that's awesome quality!! This is probably the best quality i've seen with a Hava HD. Most owners seem to have a problem capturing video and don't do the system any justice.

What software are you using? I'm looking to buy a Hava for its network capability but not fully convince yet.

did you render in a way that the video takes the whole video screen? because i saw some HAVA platinum tests with default settings and they were always smaller than the video screen.

in this one I didn't render it at all. It's just raw footage. In my newer ones, I rendered them in such a size where it took up the whole screen, yet didn't make YouTube see it as HD. I believe its 960x540 off the top of my head, but idk.

Finally someone who realizes that the hava should be in hq because although you play in hd, it downgrades the quality to sd. That is actually a good thing unless you have a shitload of extra hard drive space. HD recordings have massive file sizes

I just bought this exact Hava unit, the Platinum HD... Sorry to bother you with questions, but after seeing your video, this is exactly the quality I want to achieve when recording. Am I right by saying you used component cables, with the 360 set to 1080i, and the default settings in the Hava software recording menu? Id appreciate the help!

I have the Hava HD Platinum too and its great you wanna use the component and the red and white a/v cables and then use 2 3-couplers and your all set. Then use software like sony vegas 8 and render it in HD you can check out one of my vids to see the quality of it

well the component doesnt have sound you get the sound from your red and white cables from the Yellow red and white so you need a coupler for component and the yellow red and white just not using the yellow
