@hiltonsmith90 When i went through, that training exercise was only a couple of hours, some people didnt even get to participate..im not saying thats what it will be like for u but i wouldnt worry. just because u are in great physical shape, doesnt mean that ur body is used to what the army will put u through, some things might be easy, other things still might be difficult.

@mkelsho  on that note people that went through with me that were in great shape ended up losing muscle mass because they wernt working out the same muscle groups that they normaly would work out on there own....i suggest running carrying weight, butterfly kicks, mountain climbers, sit-ups, overhead claps, jumping jacks, and ofcourse push-ups....there are other exercises, and some ds's even made up exercises, but those were the main ones

No tips though, its more fun than anything. And shooting a M4 and hunting is not the same, they even tell you to forget everything you learned about shooting. Just be ready to be bored. and as I am writing this I see you are already gone so now i feel stupid..

With 2 weeks left in AIT we were still being marched to the troop store and getting yealled at while we bought soap and stuff.

@KillaE1 you'll be fine. They'll beat the crap out of you when you get out of the cattle car for about half a day. Your first PT test will be terrible cause your ass just got kicked. You'll be starving duing PT EVERY MORNING and eat tonnes of good chow, breakfast rules in basic. Once in AIT, at least when I was in MP school unlike other AIT's you don't get many passes and its total control no 6:00PM PX runs. Take notes and listen its a pretty hard school with lots of info. MP's are a cut above.
