i think it depends what was barcelona's away jersey like back then cos if it was quite reddish then it wudnt have mattered what jersey barcelona wore as it would clash a bit with uniteds home jersey so i think not to cause confusion they put united wearing white! that mitent be the case just a theory

Man utd is all about sheer quality...there is something magical about this club...i was 6 wen dis season was on...and seeing this clip re-confirms my faith in this club...

i still think beckham is one of the best free-kick taker in history. He just got the perfect balance of both power and accuracy, and his conversion rate was unbelievably high too

beckham did score some fantastic free kicks, but he put many many efforts woefully over the bar or wide.

cristiano ronaldo's free kicks i prefer, cos he nearly always hit the target. better to make the keeper work i think.

yeah beckham did score some excellent free kicks, but he did but a hell of a lot of them in row z. i agree though, the greater percentage of ronaldo's kicks were on target.

@Ravage27 -absolutely. Not only one of the best free kick takers ever (the best, in my opinion), but the best crosser of the ball ever as well. My father once said about Beckham. ( I'm paraphrasing here) He's not the fastest player, he's not the best dribbler, but he hustles on the defensive side when it calls for it, and I've never seen anyone in my 50 years of watching this game, have the ability to consistently deliver the ball from the range he does with such accuracy. I concur.
