    He's full of shit. A muscle fiber is either relaxed, or contracted; so if he talks crap about "varying your workouts" then it just shows that he's not doing them right.

    It shouldn't matter if you take week off, but it won't necessarily help either.

  • @postalmeter i get what your saying and to a degree your right. Mainly it depends on what you want to acomplish from the exercise that should be the way that one should exercise. He is refering to keep your body guessing as to eliminate stagnation. if you keep doing the same exercise over and over without increasing the intensity, the amount of repetitions or change the weight you might not obtain the goals you wanted and hit a plateau. Nothing is going to happen if you take a week off or not
