I fed them in the dark, because I had to feed them and this was the only time I had available to do them. From 23 onwards, they are daytime feeding videos. Yes they like subdued lighting. Most tarantulas freak out when light is shining on them
Aww, I love your pink zebra, she's so cute. I've always wanted a tarantula and I'd still like to get one someday. I keep hearing that those are the most docile, so I'll probably go with one of those. Do tarantulas like to be handled much or would they rather you leave them alone all together?
They are the most docile. Tarantulas don't like to be handled very much. They only tolerate handling to a certain point until they feel like they had enough. 2-3 times a month would probably be beneficial if you want to handle.
I don't buy crickets anymore because no matter what I do to try keep them alive they die and like you said Jon "they stink" so Instead I buy Locusts, and waxworms but hopefuly one day I will find somewhere theat ship Dubia Roaches.
i don't know if u know this or not but u inspired me 2 get my first tarantula i now i have 10 tarantulas and i can only dream of having a collection like yours but i will keep collecting them fore thay are truly amazing animals. love your vids and keep up the good work ...................................................p.s....your tarantulas sure love there (MC D's)
I have probably said this before but I hate spiders BUT I watch because you really seem to care for your {shudder} pets. What do you with the molted stuff and/or the dead ones?

wow1045 2 years ago
Psalmopoeus irminia - Venezulean suntiger. Its defensive and has got mild venom. You will feel intense pain if you get bitten by one

I keep the molts, and dispose of the dead ones, because they leave a nasty smell
