It was the first time I saw Kirk and I bsolutley hated him because I thought he was being mean to Spock, and I already knew Spock and loved him, so it really bothered me that Kirk was all mean and shit.

This episode in particular and written by Gene himself !........just says alot about the 1960's ! of compassion and heart, soul and the pursuit of the human dignity. This is a powerful script, i wished number one could have gone onward in the Star Trek series, she was a compelling actress and character!
