As you lower yourself toward the ground, the first thing that should graze the floor is your chest. If your hips or legs come down first, you're doing it wrong.

Yes you can get really strong doing that. Try 5 sets a day of Push Ups as many reps as you can on each set, 5 sets of Ab. Crunches at least 50 reps or more per set, also Ab. Leg Lifts 30 reps or more per set, Chin Ups, Squats and Calf Raises. Do 5 sets of each per day as many reps as you can per workout. Keep track of the reps you are doing and every week add 5 to 10 more reps. to each workout. For example if you did 5 sets of 50 reps. push ups, the next week do 5 Sets a day of 55 or 60 reps

On a normal busy day I do from 4 to 5 sets of 100 Push Ups. That is 400 and 500 push ups in one day. On a Sunday I do 10 sets of 100 Push Ups, that is 1Thousand Push Ups in one day. My body is already used to performing this amount of work, but I know that everyone can do this too. Try letting one day in between of resting. Then you can start with 4 to 5 sets a day of how many push ups you can perform in a row. Have a good workout!
Well go for it man, you can do it. I wish I could join the military but MATH does not get along with me. I took the test 3 times but the MATH part just kills my score. I am 33 years old now and on July 23 I turn 34. I think I got about one more year to try again to join the military. I can't say I HATE MATH - MATH HATES ME.
P.S. If you practice and train harder you can do more Push Ups. Go for it.

Sorry, but this is not "good form." Your chest is nowhere near the ground - you bulge out your stomach while your chest stays up. Additionally, the "bouncing" motion of fast pushups decreases the effectiveness of each motion - you're essentially using momentum to get yourself up. Try going down, pausing for half a second, then going back up. A hundred of such push ups would be impressive.
That is really good! I can barely stand to do about 200 push ups in a day. I feel it is one heck of a good workout for me though because I am usually soaked after wards, as if I was jogging for 30 minutes or something.

the best way i found to do them is do them in intervals. like 65,55,45,35,25,15,5. as you get stronger u can raise the number u start with too. this works really well. Im only 14 and I do 55 as my starting number.

Your form was good for about the first twenty. After that, from about 20-80, you would do pushups with a wavy motion starting from your knees.
During your last 20, this wavy motion became much more pronounced, and you stopped to take breaks. Just because you are resting in the pushup position doesn't mean you aren't taking a break. When I was 12 I used to do 100 pushups as punishment; I took breaks like that every 10 or so pushups. You can do pushups indefinitely when taking breaks like that.,

I do push ups from Monday to Friday. I rest Saturday and Sunday. I do 10 sets of 100 Push Ups a day. That is 1 Thousand a day in total. I do not do them all in one shot. I do 10 sets throughout the day but I don't go to bed until I have done all 10 sets. Thank you for your comment.

Actually 5 sets of 100 Push Ups a day. That is 500 total a day. That keeps me in shape. Does not have to bee all five sets at once. Do 100 in the morning, 100 an hour later, 100 at lunch time, 100 at 3PM and then 100 around 7 or 8PM. That maintains the body really well and gives you a lot of strenght. Thank you for your comment.

he maked 1 pushup and put it on repeat several times , than maked again some pushup in wich is pretending that he is tired , on first just look at the leaf in trees , and the siren sound , is siren until he look like hi's tired ...fake

the best way i found to do them is do them in intervals. like 65,55,45,35,25,15,5. as you get stronger u can raise the number u start with too. this works really well. Im only 14 and I do 55 as my starting number.

Your form was good for about the first twenty. After that, from about 20-80, you would do pushups with a wavy motion starting from your knees.
During your last 20, this wavy motion became much more pronounced, and you stopped to take breaks. Just because you are resting in the pushup position doesn't mean you aren't taking a break. When I was 12 I used to do 100 pushups as punishment; I took breaks like that every 10 or so pushups. You can do pushups indefinitely when taking breaks like that.,

I do push ups from Monday to Friday. I rest Saturday and Sunday. I do 10 sets of 100 Push Ups a day. That is 1 Thousand a day in total. I do not do them all in one shot. I do 10 sets throughout the day but I don't go to bed until I have done all 10 sets. Thank you for your comment.

hmm, seems to stray away from what i'm used to hearing. figured you'd need at least 48 hours before doing that much again. maybe pusups dont tear your muscles up as much as bench press? i figured you would be overtraining doing pusups 5 days a week

Actually 5 sets of 100 Push Ups a day. That is 500 total a day. That keeps me in shape. Does not have to bee all five sets at once. Do 100 in the morning, 100 an hour later, 100 at lunch time, 100 at 3PM and then 100 around 7 or 8PM. That maintains the body really well and gives you a lot of strenght. Thank you for your comment.

how many can you do without any rest? i'm following the 100 push ups program and my record is 70 without any rest. hope to break it soon. nice video, good luck with breaking records

when they have any kind of fitness or bodybuilding competition the army is there with their booths (42 pushups = free shirt.) Free shirt not so interesting. What was interesting was that some guy got 105 pushups and this was at a VIDEO GAME convention. Wtf. Do you think he did them straight with no rests or do you think he stopped and rested?
I dont think they have a time limit for how long you rest, so I think (want to believe) that the guy didnt really do 105 without resting.

Well done! I lost count because there was a mosquito in my room and I wanted to find it and crush it, but I didn't. I trust you though. I am also trying that 100 push up program (and the 20 pull up program) that jesperc20 is doing. If I have to get as big as you to do 100 push ups, then I don't think it is gonna happen!
