Old "Nashville Cat" Steve did OK for himself. In fact, I'd like to see Asia (or someone good enough) rip up another one of Copeland's works. How about "Hoedown"? I cannot believe Palmer is still playing on those Massive steel turned drums. They do weigh better than a tonne. Wish I could have been there to throw that old Yamaha GX-1 offstage and give him a new Roland. (and take away that Mooge M3 and replace it with an ARP 2500 and wing cabinets. Yahooo!
Steve's one of my all time heros. But, Geoff Downes is not playing the right keyboard parts at all, I wonder it if's killing Carl to hear it like this. I can't see how they let him get away with that. Geoff's lucky to be playing with world class players, when he plays only as well as a local yocal, a mediocre player at best.
@ScreamingDoug Hahaha.. that was fun! This made me think what if Hendrix had joined them, what it was about to happen!, they should have been HELP! (o maybe ELPH?).
Wow - this is horrible! It sounds like they threw together this version in five minutes. Even Downes playing is bad. It's just a long setup for Carl's solo.
umm are you kidding me? This version is fabulous in my opinion it really shows each musician playing great, even nice to see wetton jaming still with his previous bad carpel tunnel probs...excellent by Palmer and Howe as always!! Downes serves the song great as well! i cant wait to go to see them with Yes in Pittsburgh on the 21st!!!
It was a long set up for the drum solo and it was great. I saw it in Philly. Steve Howe was pissed off all night with the PA system though. He said the PA was rubbish.

I agree Paul...it is great. It just sounds bad since it isn't 'mixed' and video'd from a camera....
