i have the same problem i installed then it couldnt connect to server so i went to uninstall and it wasnt on addremove programs? then when i tryed to download the version b4 that it says you already had a newer version? PLEASE HELP ME
i foudn the solution with the help of someone. You have to download a program called "perfect installer". its prettysimple from there, just install it then go down the list of programs you want to uninstall for good, then check the box or whatever, then it should be gone for good.

Go into control panel, ininstall programs, windows live essentials and click messenger!

i used regcleaner and went 2 uninstall menu
then dwn 2 windows live so on
and then i installed it again then another file then it worked lol
