I've always loved these openings. Can't remember what the piece of music is called but it's perfect; a crying shame they don't use it any longer.

The piece is called "Stardust", composed by Howard "Hoagy" Carmichael in 1927. I believe this version is the Benny Goodman Quartet version from the mid 1930's, Benny Goodman on clarinet, Lionel Hampton on vibrapone.
