damn.. ive always wanted to try one and hopefully i will someday, but for the price which i know isnt cheap for a s.s would you say itd be just as good to get a somewhat cheaper tube amp. i mean this tone is killer i just cant imagine using that money for a s.s
these amps are fucking loud. never judge an amp on wether its tube or solid state. If it sounds good, has appropriate volume, nice features, and is reliable then buy it
@plummustangs yeah, for that price range (900 bucks new) you can get a bugera 333xl or an egnater renegade (both full tube amps, pretty clean too and if you need a nice distortion as well, they both come with very nice distortions... the bugera is a little more metal oriented, has 3 channels and the egnater has 2) if that's what you are looking for
@rodrigozamo LOL trying to fuck that fool aren't you? Bugera break down easy and sound like shit, thats my their so fucking cheap try something like engl or vht/fryette.

The JC 120 is a solid state amp, not tube and you can find them used in the $500 dollar range.
Also why there isn't any hiss like a tube amp hum, because it is solid state.
