I dont think that anyone in their right mind wants to have/see/perform an abortion. However, I do not believe the answer is making it illegal. Women would die. Children would be born into unloving circumstances. More education and birth control availability is needed. We need to work together, and show love where love is needed.

But with suffering also comes the possibility of knowning feelings that oppose suffering, so I don't know. I am pro life, but I understand that there are difficult situations. When people deal with dificulty, they sometimes need options, and through those options, we need to show love.

I don't think whoever wrote the bible ever actually spoke to God, but rather compiled many different pieces of information available at the time. Also at the time as pure hearted as they tried to be people still had their own bias and agendas and to think that these all escaped the bible imo is not realistic. The Catholic Church is not against sex education and family planning per se. She is against the immoral means or methods by which they are being implemented. And the end does not justify the means. Any family planning scheme that is premised on materialism and relativism is anti-God and anti-life. The prevention of the fertilization of the egg cell or implantation of the fertilized egg cell through human intervention is a sin because it frustrates the will of God to create human life.

@billthemisogynist Allow me to explain something to you about birth control: first of all, a woman does NOT end a life by not getting pregnant to begin with. And yes, this includes having sex and using birth control to not get pregnant.
Secondly, banning birth control will result in more unwanted pregnancys, which in turn will result in MORE ABORTIONS.
If you ban legal abortion, women who are pregnant and determined to not have a child can do a self-abortion at home using a coathanger.

Abortions should be mandatory for anyone under an average IQ - also a strong eugenics policy should be implemented encouraging people of good genetic qualities to have as many as three children and the state should support them financially for educational and health benefits. I dont think that anyone in their right mind wants to have/see/perform an abortion. However, I do not believe the answer is making it illegal. Women would die. Children would be born into unloving circumstances. More education and birth control availability is needed. We need to work together, and show love where love is needed.

But with suffering also comes the possibility of knowning feelings that oppose suffering, so I don't know. I am pro life, but I understand that there are difficult situations. When people deal with dificulty, they sometimes need options, and through those options, we need to show love.

I don't think whoever wrote the bible ever actually spoke to God, but rather compiled many different pieces of information available at the time. One must be aware of who was writing, to whom the writing is adressed, and the context and culture at the time of writing. Back alley abortions, women were getting them one way or another and often paying for it with their lives. We should absolutely not ban contraceptives, especially one as effective as the pill. We need birth control and more education on the subject to prevent abortions. Taking away birth control will only up the amount of abortions.

Nope....abortions rise year on year....cos of evil depraved adults. Contraception is for people who don't want their nations to have a future. These people are a millstone around the necks of their nations....they are leeches. CATHOLIC STATE for me.....where there will be no abortion or contraception. And no Protestants have more abortions actually!!

People were saying those things about Bush Jr because they were true.
He illegally invaded a sovereign nation using lies and deception to justify it, he allowed private mercenary operations to commit acts of genocide and other war crime and ran secret policies that amounted to the ethnic cleansing of wealthy areas of Baghdad by taking christian Iraqis and placing them in the homes of wealthy Muslims by forcing them out at gun point so the Christians could have them.
