This weapon is a good close range weapon especially if you tend to camp more but get ambushed at close rang. It's more effective when you know the enemy is nearby so you can ambush your attacker.

If you like to save up your ammo in close quarter situations I'd recommend using this to spray down an area in a hallway/room etc.

Snipers can use this when someone's encroaching on their position.

However if you do plan on long-range engagements you should probably get used to aiming up. Versatile

@1Vortigern Woah man the rex is not a bad gun. You can take three guys with it if youre accurate enough. Its basically a close encounter weapon that works well if you're a recon pitted against one or to guys in the You will miss with your rifle range. Honestly calling the rex a bad pistol is like calling the M230 grenade launcher a bad weapon. Sure they both have weaknesses but they both can get you a lot of kills consistently if you know when to use them.

I can just use the 1911 sup. but i'd rather use the REX just because i feel like a badass using a Revolver.

one of the reasons its not good to u is cuz u suck with it i once got a double kill and could've gotten a triple if it had more bullets in it or if it reloaded gaster

@lalometalic101 And how many kills could you have gotten in that situation if it was the .44 Magnum instead? A couple of good kills does not make a weapon good. This weapon is fully capable of getting lots of kills, but it's beaten by all other pistols in most situations.

But my favourite pistols are the M9 Supp. and M1911 Supp.

For the MP412 REX, you play the Co-op missions till you get 63,000 points. Now, next time, read the description or just don't comment at all.

maybe the most underpowered gun in the game? you need 100% accuracy to get a kill with it at 50m with 2 magazines

It's no good in regular games but if you play hardcore it's almost always a 1 shot kill
