  • beautiful version I love the tango in this song.....

  • i remember this song well. in 7th grade we learned to ballroom dance to it. great memories, thanks for posting

  • You are welcome.

  • @tanline10 - Horst was Germany's premier jazz pianist and a fantastic orchestra leader. A playlist for him was among my first last year.

I now have 425 playlists by artist, genre or year thanks to uploaders like wally !!

You can listen to Horst for an hour on his playlist and up to 2 hrs on most others.

Every year back to 1895 has a playlist so you can listen as though you're back in the day, it's musical time travel !!!

  • @chkjns IS HE STILL ALIVE TODAY ?

  • Pure Perfection! Worthy of the immediancy of the punctuation!!

  • Hi, it'S great to listen to this wonderful songs. May you can tell me, please, if this songs are as cd or anywhere as mp3 are available. Similar for Cahrming Vienna.

Thanks for posting and best regards!

    Stefan

  • You are welcome. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this & "Charming Vienna" is not available on any mp3 format. I have several other songs up by Horst, as well, and none are currently available. But I think if you searched eBay, there might be something on cd as an import product?

  • Ah ... Love this ... could listen to it all day !

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • awesome version.

  • Just goes to show how easily one forgets the great hits of the past. I hadn't thought of Mr. Jankowski's music for years, and I luckily stumbled upon this. I'm so glad I did! Thank you for bringing back sweet memories of the sixties. It really was the best of times!

  • Thank you. I have two others by him up and running and will upload a couple more.

  • Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Nice video, great version! '64-'65 were jankowskis best musical arrangements. I wish he continued to produce music like this, but he kept up with the times. Around 1967 he got into more of a jazz/modern sound. I enjoy the easy listening/pop instrumentals like this best. Thanks for posting!
