Oblivion: Mystic Elfs (Ren's beauty pack)

So, Do I need the alternative start to be able to use mystical elves?

I tried a mystical elf earlier, but I don't have any alternative starts installed. I walked up to the cell wall, and the guy across the hall wouldn't say anything, and I waited about a minute waiting for the emperor to show up, he didn't. Did I just not wait long enough, or do I really need a mod to play an un-official race?

@emka509 I did it in a weird way. I extracted all of the files and folders to Data.

Just play it on Xbox, the only mods that make this fun for me were Mystic Elves, Better Graphics/Watering and that's it, oh and Nordic Fur was added to the game, I play on Xbox now though.

@torandre93 You need to download Custom Race Fix or Alternative Start (Alternative Start allows you to skip tutorial) or make a character with vanilla race in prison cell and change your character to Mystic Elf before exiting the sewers.

When I download the Rens beauty pack I click it after it downloads an Internet page comes up saying Untitled and it will not work.......and also where could I find a RAR and DDR file opener without having to buy a License key?!!? Thanks for the help!

My Rens beauty pack is BALD!! , im a new downloaded of mods, i downloaded rens beauty pack from planet elder scrolls including the "required file" of "Custom race FIX" and extracted the files using winrar and everything and i play the game i start in prison i see the races , male , femal , M tatto's, F Tatto's, and all there diffrenct coloured eyes but there BALD! they have no hair at all on there heads , any help please? :(

Same thing happened when i downloaded the beauty pack at first too, somehow i fixed the baldness, have you tried downloading it from Tesnexus?

@TheAverageMetalhead its ok now i fixed it thankyou, i didnt see the file under neath Rens beauty pack RACES which was called Rens beauty pack HAIR lol , but i used planet elder scrolls , i cant used tesnexus because it doesnt let me download anything over 2m without registering , and when i try to registrar it doesnt accept my email address :( ... but thankyou :D

@lowhigh000 I had the same problem, now try reinstalling Ren's.

Oh and btw, u will need to download it from tesnexus.

Yeah, i have lots o mods:) Actually i prefer oblivion on X-Box 360... but on the computer it's good too.
