Paula Kelly- even breathtaking in a wordless pantomime. And a killer fur and evening gown!! The 'sophisticated' kiss on the hand and exit at the very end is awesome.
@xolentone I agree ... however, without the late-GREAT Phylis Hyman & the Awesome dance of Gregg Burge I just don't see how the "magic" can be duplicated. There is just NO replacement nor substitute for the 2 of them!! I feel sorry for all who never got to see their irreplaceable performances "Live."

THROUGH the singing and dancing, these wonderful "personalities" take us back to an era and tell us a story. they tell us no matter what time (year) it is, we all want the same things and love was and will be a beautiful song to sing always...because IT'S a sophisticated lady!
but what im saying is the show is a musical review think about it. there are no musical reviews out now except Rock of Ages and its various artist. i just think the average nyc tourist is more conserned with seeing Lion king or Little mermaid then This
This was simply beautiful. Thanks for posting. I was about 10 years old when i went to see this play on boardway. It was great. How i wish for them to have plays like they had back then. Plays like: The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Sophisticated Ladies. Where OH, where have the good times gone??? Someone PLEASE save us.
