• The monster is from BREATH OF FIRE!!!

    'gets angreh'

  • can you give me a lin to were you got those.

  • does anyone how to get a normal round system (like in golden sun or something) in rpgm2k3?

  • Uhh... I think you should make the idle stance a bit more slower. (especially Sayaka)

  • nice

  • Any download for this game by any chance?

    a website for ur resources???

  • wots that supposed to mean, you wanna steal my resources!?

  • umm can you tell me where you got those cool chacters

  • Dude, I love your games. Check out mine:Legend of Firewing Breaks Damage Limit and THPA Metagamey. Soon to be released! Ahem.

  • Amazing skills. Melee skills are always funner to make than ranged skills. I liked it when Carson jumped and hit the enemy with the axe. One question, how did you fit him in? When I tried, his Axe and legs get chopped off, or did you use a battle charset generator? :)

  • Well, I've been making anims like this, so...If you have any programs like Paint Shop Pro, that'll help. Paint works, but.. yeah. You get a template off of Charas Ex, the resources, (type template in the battle animations), then find the sheets of the characters(I gots a link, PM me if you need it), and then just open em both in Paint Shop Pro, put em at the same color rate, and start draggin the characters to the sheet.

  • One question, how did you fit him in? When I tried, his Axe and legs get chopped off, or did you use a battle charset generator? :)

He added his pose as a battle animation, not as a charset. i do that a lot in my game too for big stuff

  • A custom battle system would have been really nice with this.

  • Looks extremely boring. I mean, all the skills are damage based, wtf?

  • Well duh. That's how RPG's work. And really how RPG Maker does it too.

  • yuo=smrt!

What the fucking shit do you expect skills to do?

  • XD

  • cool how do you make games plz tell

  • Yeah... animating battle enemies is extremely difficult... but on RPG Maker XP... that's a different story ;)

There is a new video to those who are interested.

  • not bad those characters sptires are from tales of the world i think it's really good but make the ememy move aswell as the characters

  • He can't do that.

  • Actually it is possible to animate enemies by setting a battle animation to a monster sprite, and then giving it several poses.

But it would have very limited movement, look bad and probably quite disproportioned.

Though i have no doubt that the good sir Jaymonius could probably accomplish it :D

  • lolfearme: How would you do that though?

  • I...i don;t know...

    Dies

  • LOLZ!

  • You played Phantasia's 2 and 3? That's cool :D I should put some more videos on my previous Phantasias on here... if I can find a good video program that shows more gameplay and battles and stuff. :D

  • Looks good, phantasia 2 and 3 were great.

  • Dude..! This Video is kick ass! 5 stars.

  • I'm not a good teacher >_> but for the walking up and attacking someone there are two animations for it... find the one beside Battle Animation when in the skill/weapon tabs... then yeah find movement animation afterward and happy days there ya go. :P

  • how do you make the characters go up to the enemy and attck?, first time trying rpg maker 2003, so help me please!

  • Wow, you've just GOT to teach me how to do that with RPG Maker 2003, I can't even come close to comparing with that.

  • Nice animations, but the sound effects are not that great and characters are too far from targets :P Other than that, great :)
