  • The XV250 is a great bike. 60MPG (25.5km/l) in city riding & 65MPH (105kph) [on a flat road] all day long.

Pity I need to go 85mph (137kph) to keep from getting run over around here.

  • @svaz2006 Whats the difference between the the V and XV? and also are they still making these bikes, like 2011?

  • @zepvhrule I'm not familiar w/ the V250 having only seen it referred to as the XV250 or the V-Star 250. In some parts of the world it's also called the Dragstar 250; the Australian version, DS250, has some pretty hefty mods and looks better than the American version, IMHO. In 2011, the XV250 is available here in the U.S.

Older versions (pre-2008?) are called Virago 250s but are essentially the same bike.

  • The bike that Harley won't build.

  • Beautiful!! Check out mine! ;) It is 20 years old!!

  • Got myself a black one... Don't be fooled by the 250 though: goes at a decent 100-110km/h on the motorway if the wind is with you.

  • go with 16/42 sprokets makes big improvement

  • @my6btc----Would you elaborate ? Better MPG, lower revs for cruising ? Do you know what the stock teeth are ?

  • @my6btc---Hell, while I'm at it...What's the deal with the Dragstar 250 ? Do they only sale those versions out of the United States because I've only heard of the Virago/Vstar-250.

  • ale trzewiki no no

  • live to ride... i wszystko jasne

  • Noo...Bracie kapitalny sprzęt. Piękny gang silnika i ładna linia motocykla. Pozdrawiam:)
