  • Regarding the compensation system, I do not see how it is fair that someone has to balance legs of income. It appears designed to enable the company to take as much as they can and give as little as they can in return. On commission I get a percentage of what I sell, but with USANA if sales are $80,000 in one leg, but $4,000 in the other leg, you only get commission on the combined amount of $8,000. They still get $84,000. Its hard work and a gamble for the distributor: appears immoral to me.

  • First, the product is good; been using it for years. Put my incurable medical condition into remission. If I stop using it the symptoms return. HOWEVER, the company is awful! For example, took over 3 hours, 5 calls, to put in my order today. Simple or not every time you call it is a major event. Super poor service! Korea or Australia, same thing! I do NOT recommend USANA as a business. They are awful! If I ever find another product that does the same thing for me I will dump USANA with glee.

  • @USANAK ...good thing the person who sold you the product that cured you didn't listen to advice similar to yours about not starting a USANA business. That would have been a bummer for you, wouldn't it.

  • @USANAK , why you just simply make your order online a few clicks to corenutrition.usana.com will get your order to anywhere in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, New Zealand, Australia and many other countries...!!!

  • You dont get into a business just to get rich, you get in for the philosophy, the products, the knowledge, the growth as a human and persuing happines you may acomplish economic wealth... If your goal is just for the money, I really advice not to join... there is nothing wrong for been a employee all your life, but try to be happy!

  • I agree with you 100%. I just got into USANA not because of it could be a money making opportunity, because it is the best product of the kind and more importantly, it can make me healthier and it did in just one month! People, wake up. Spend a couple of hundred and try out the product yourself and then you'll know the answer. It is truely an amazing product. Period!

  • if all of that energy you spent was focused on something productive instead of hatred, i am pretty sure you will get somewhere in life

  • Why do people use the example of recommending a friend to a movie and getting paid? With Usana you have to buy $100/ mth worth of products.

That's like you buying $100 of movie tickets in order to get paid for your referrals. That analogy is off. You can make money from Amazon, Walmart, and thousands of other stores without having to pay to refer.

Usana is smart though. They know their products are a hard sell. Setting up this system to make reps buy them in hopes of a dream life is genius.

  • I'm so sad to see sutch a scam being legal. Come on ! Wake up ! Sounds wonderfull he ? Everybody becomes a millionaire ? My sister is sunk real deep into that almost religion...,the more she sinks money into that scam, the more desperate she gets to recruit other suckers. A program based on recruiting instead of selling is a pyramid scam...end of the line ! For the love of god, stay away from this evil enterprise!

  • Clearly a scam. Sad how people get tricked into joining everyday. Once your in the "Usana family" I hope you enjoy going to the same presentation every week hearing the same jokes and the same lines. After you consider everyone of your friends/acquaintances a target for the business, I think you'll realize your in a cult. Usana is a joke.

  • Hey you mother fucker(usanareport),Which video?I can tell you in japanes or chines or spanish if you want fucker...you made the video for yourself but not as a testimonial like lab proves or some shit, facts fucker and tell me your address I will show you.USANAREPOR(porunmundopeor)

  • It seems that there are people who have no idea what a pyramid is. They often call networking companies pyramids. What about the structure of a corporation with one CEO on top followed by a few top level managers, followed by middle-level managers, followed by low-level managers then bottoming out to the plebs? Pyramids are illegal & USANA has been around for more than 16 years providing valuable products & services to billions worldwide. So detractors should get their facts straight first!

  • you are absolutely right, people are ignorant, labeling network marketing as a pyramid automatically without getting their facts straight. a corporation structure is a true pyramid scheme how ignorant are people now a day?

  • I find it strange that I cant find a real representative of usana here on youtube.I Only see replicated professional videos from the corporate office at Usana. There are only web 2.0 training wanabees that use Usana as a front to train a low level mlmers.

  • u cant find a rep? i dont know what you are doing.

  • The Olympic champions endorse USANA: Jennifer Azzi & Derek Parra just to name two. There are other athletes but I don't know them all by name.

USANA is truly a great company!!

  • Athletes are sponsored by Usana. The supplements are good, however they are not worth the price. For sponsorships it is a non-issue. The business model is the most distressing thing, as it has become a pyramid scam. Check my profile for more information.

  • So you do agree that the supplements are good, great, you are making more sense now. The business model is a pyramid scam, i've been trying to get your mind straight for a few weeks now. Let me ask you one thing. in a corporate structure, who makes the most money? who makes the lowest money? If you say that Usana is a pyramid scam, then you are saying that business in general is a pyramid.

  • You are misinformed about what a pyramid scheme is. In a corporation, people with lower paid jobs are at least MAKING money instead of losing it, and they aren't expected to recruit more people to do the SAME job. In corp they are hiring people below them to do different jobs that the company has a need for, not endlessly recruiting people to compete with each other over an increasingly saturated market.

  • People in network marketing make money too, wow what a coincidence? even the people at DEAD bottom is making money. My friend that joined, is making money from only selling to customers. That is a business am i correct? buying, selling? wholesale to retail? In a corporation (like a pyramid scheme), has the top of the pyramid do different things, while the broad base at the bottom do the same job. worst, they can get fired and loose their job, that wont happen with network marketing.

  • Oh really? You can't get fired from a network marketing company? Even if you are using them to operate a pyramid scheme? That explains a lot. Thanks.

  • How many people do you know that have joined Usana and then quit before making any money? Probably a lot more than the number who actually did make money. Now how many people have worked at EVEN the LOWEST job in a corporation and lost money to that corporation? Everyone gets paid, even if the top gets paid more. In Usana, making money is the exception rather than the rule.

  • Okay, for the last time UsanaReport, do you understand what a business is? A business, you must invest money in order to make money. You must devote time in order to see your business grow. You are judging the company off the fact that people sit on their asses HOPING money will go into their pockets just because they signed up. Just like a corporation, you must work hard to get promoted and make MONEY. And NONE, I SAID NONE of my friends have quit. NONE

  • I'm sorry but I honestly have a hard time believing that no one who joined under you ever quit. Since you're such a fan of proof, do you mind proving this for me?

  • So what is the investment in the USANA business exactly? What do you get for your money?

  • we should meet in person, maybe at a YouTube convention, cool? we'll bring checks :)

  • checks?

  • pay checks that I have from usana. hard evidence showing that people get paid? how does that sound? maybe in your little fantasy world, you WISH there wasn't legit network marketing companies, but you are bitter that there is.

  • Tell me your rank and USANA ID.

  • your kidding right? you want me to tell you my ID? Meet me in person and I'll show. then u can know my rank and ID, hows that?

  • You claim to have proof but you won't even tell your ID? What do you have to hide?

  • i have nothing to hide, i just dont want to be telling my business ID over the internet, have u heard of security issues? Meet me in person, I'd be happy to show u all the proof. you need to start spending some time doing something active than try to take down a legit corporation based on your own ASSUMPTIONS. Like I said, I'd be happy to show you proof, better in person than over the internet.

  • Security issues? I don't see how it causes any security issues as long as you don't give out your online business center password as well. Did you see my blog? How Usana deleted their own wiki article. That is not an assumption. It's a fact. Usana is a rip-off, they don't even pay you when you for bringing people in. Where do you live?

  • Your blog is useless, everything that you say has absolutely no credibility because you are naive and pestimistic. You have never been a Usana representative so you do not know the inner working of a good organization. According to the Better business bureau, usana only had 5 complaints, all of them resolved. Yet, you say Usana is a rip-off when you havn't even been a rep, I don't get your logic.

  • My blog has no credibility? Even though I link my sources unlike you?

  • You talking crap about a company without you being in it, worst, you spend all your time blogging about a company you never experienced. That is like telling people not to go to a restaurant and eat there without trying their food and seeing their service. PM me about how we can meet up.

  • Not being in it is one thing, not experiencing it is another. I went to several USANA meetings and talked to many reps and I tell what I saw: a pyramid scheme.

  • i saw a product, i saw people on the bottom making all the money and i saw it cleared by SEC

  • The bottom making all the money? Are you blind? It all comes down to getting the most number of reps to max out the most number of business centers. You can't be at the bottom and make money. If you're truly at the bottom, with no one under you, where's the money going to come from?

You can make more than some above you simply because you can max out more business centers than them. The bottom line is still that you need to get reps to stay on autoship.

  • I remember quickstar being like that too...it just depends who u are...not everybody likes doing the same thing....find your niche...your market..be good at it....fail... try again....sorry ur probably more successful than most people...i give u credit for a good debater

  • As it always ends, any business that you go into, requires work, and your successfulness depends on what you put in. People who fail at Usana either:

    1) They don't have a supportive/serious upline

    2) They do not spend time planning rank advancement

    3) They sit around expecting points to roll in.

What I do is, I have meetings and trainings 3 times a week, and in between those days, I do personal training with each of the people I personally sponsor. The pack knows as much as the leader

  • and it is my responsibility that my downline knows exactly everything that is going on. I don't bullshit in a company I pay for to be in, I work to keep profit, and that is what everyone in network marketing that are failing NEEDS to know, you work hard, you play hard. I stay up to 3am every night training my downlines, as well as having a part time job and school. How do I do it? I have a knowledgeable downline that can take over while I work. Its what we do, we are a TEAM/ORGANIZATION.

  • People who have a supportive upline and actually do try at their business, they succeed. I'm making money and so Is my downline, and we are not on top of the tree, we are actually pretty far down on the line. As you might not know, a regular job starts off at a set amount, maybe 30k a year, and your income rises through raises from the company. In Network Marketing, you start at zero, as your organization builds it shoots up exponentially.

  • With USANA, you don't start at zero, you start negative because you are paying to be in the company. People at the bottom are actually contributing money so that others in the business can get paid. And that is exactly how a pyramid scheme works.

  • what about starting a storefront business?

  • That can't happen. USANA products are average at best but they are 3 to 6 times more expensive than their "legal" equivalent... a storefront business is doomed from start ! This is why they need a pyramid scam

  • If it's so good, shouldn't they at least pay you when you bring someone in? Tell me why they don't even pay for someone's hard work at recruiting.

  • This is another EXCELLENT video although I accidentally flagged it. I had hit the link in error & I could not remove the flag.

  • The Usana product line consists of haircare and hair accessories. Other products include health, fitness, and wellness nutritional supplements. They also have products designed to help oral hygiene, personal care, skincare, and weight management.

  • Jennifer Azzi is a gold medalist and former WNBA superstar. If she's taking these products- they must be superior to anything else on the market, since her career could be in jeopardy if she were to test positive for any banned substance...which is why most athletes don't take supplements. Pretty cool. Worth checking out.
