  • Seeing all those firetrucks in a line, all those firemen thinking "Oh gee, when is it OUR turn?"

  • So what type of warehouse was it did it have oil in so if so did they use the foam to put it out please reply as i want to do this as a career when i am older

  • @TheMrBlackopsBoys

This was a plastic recycycling facility...they processed plastic products and alot of water was used to bring it under control....best of luck to you on your career

  • fully involved? lol nice wording.

  • @TBNPProductions It's a fire fighting term. Look it up.

  • i personally think they did a great job. CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System....Foam line) would have been nice to protec exposures and smother from the roof. i think any type of ladder truck should have one on their ariel masterstream.

  • Great Video!

    Bobby

    Fleener Web Hosting

  • another great one. Was Chicago Board Up Services there.

visit some of ours chicago board up

  • with a fully involved fire,do they let the fire burn itself out while just keeping it controlled?

  • @moviebeansproduction

Its controlled by Putting water on it and making sure no other Exposures (close by Buildings) are in danger

  • @moviebeansproduction depends on the severity and the occupants of the building. if the building looks close to failure then they should do a controlled burn and protect exposures

  • monsta123x has this video listed as a fire at a book storage warehouse.

"the so called plastics factory building video was copied from here"

Given the dates I guessing that isn't the case.

  • @cn99

Thanks for Noticing That...I was Unaware that some Dickhead from India stole my video & tagged it as Terrorism

  • @7089540230 I see you got the same treatment I got when I pointed it out - comments removed and banned from further posting.

  • i would of pulled my men out of that fire

  • i love how there is only an ambulance in the beginning

  • everybody is an expert... all you armchair firemen need to get a life...

  • WTF....that building is history. What about a collapse zone. WTF is a 1 3/4 line going to do? Surround and drown

  • Y are firetrucks sitting there this should be a all hands job

  • @wikiwai

Good luck trying to put out a plastics fire of that magnitude.

  • why do i here pass devices?

  • 1:44 whatta dick he cant hand his fellow firefighter the hose lol just throws it down and walks away ahahah

  • haha i know the kid who did this

  • why does it always take so long in to fight against the fire ? i all videos i can only see fireman destroying windows and let the building burn instead of using water ...

  • how where you able to get that close

  • look at all those fumes

  • ca va ca gere en amerique je trouve que le travail des pompiers est meilleurs qu'en france

  • Did any 1 die?

  • Wow thats a pretty awesome fire whos got marshmallows :D

  • I live in Salt Lake City and a wood furniture place went up like this. All those wood treatment liquids made the fire extremely intense and move very quickly. The place burned to the ground but the firefighters managed to keep the flames off of a next door apartment complex. It was sad that a business was lost but that can be rebuilt. At least no one was injured and no other structures were destroyed. Kudos to the fireighters!

  • PLASTIC RECYCLING................Thats highy Toxic.

  • Hey, did you catch that Homewood fire last night? I didnt get there till after is was out. Hopefuly you have some footage.

  • @stonedrix

  • @7089540230 Well, I was not aware of the full outcome when I posted this, so I understand. And yes it is very sad. Thanx for responding.

  • @7089540230 selfish person

  • I hope no train past by during the infero.

  • Comment removed

  • Tracks suck. Watched a whse fire where they had to trench under the tracks because it was a major line.

  • thats bad right there thats just bad

  • great 2 mins wish there were 8 more

  • @micme0083

there is More...There is another clip with more footage on my site

    thanks for watching & commenting

  • How in the hell would one even start to put out a fire like this? It would seem like an exercise in futility.

  • surround.......drown........protect exposures

  • Last time I saw a fire that big it was a train that derailed carrying a lot of fuel and coal so there was not much they could do but just let it burn out. It was not near any homes or anything so no one was in danger but they told anyone living 12 blocks from the where it happened to leave there house just in case.

  • Gotta love the retards who grab the 1"3/4 for a surround and drown

  • those "retards" are your brothers!! show some respect "firefighter"

  • @firefighter3427 hey, we had a 3 alarm apartment building fire where i live id say about 3 months ago now....and we surround and drowned it...and we used 1"3/4'....that dont make us retards....but the person who started didnt make no sense at all and when the police went to arrest him they found out he skipped town and went to florida

  • Geez what was in there, rotting plywood, used oil?

  • recycled plastic u idiot

  • a fire like that handlines aint gonna do shit. thats when you call a general alarm bring everyone around you set up all the aerials and a shit load of step guns and deck guns and hope for the best.

  • i agree......thats about all u can do

  • strike 5th alarm on box 3-11

  • are they laying a supply line across railroad tracks?WTF

  • all the rail traffic was stopped

you can see the Header from 50 miles away

  • we had some type of chemical plant on fire here and they had to evacuate half the city and there was a county wide curfew. did they do anything like that there???? plastic fumes are hazardous

  • ya like those guys are gonna put that out pfft

  • bad day at work huh?

  • HEY that near my house, I always wonder where that black smoke came from

  • lol its a campfire weres the hot dogs lol

  • Great Video!!! We had a fire like this at my old dept. about a 3 years ago at an abandoned mill where the company stored oxygen tanks (It was my first fire!!!! lol). We got the call at 7:30 Friday night and was there until 11:30 Saturday morning, we had 2 counties there, about 30 Engine companies total...2 ?s

    1. How long where there?

    2. How many Engine Companies were there? (Rough estimate)

  • quite large ill give u that on my first day we had 1 involvng acetylyine we were there for 2 days aboit 30 fire vehicles on scene

  • SCOTLNADTHEBRAVE....Ok cool. These fires are not good AT ALL, but damn they are exciting and get your adrenaline pumping lol

  • true ... it was my first acetylyne experience

  • SCOTLANDTHEBRAVE012...Whenever the fire would hit an Oxygen tank (It was a med. supply company that owned the building), we could see the night sky light up

  • true same issiue here with acetyline ... huge explosions and illuminations

  • there should be no reason that the amb should be that close to the fire. they should of been back farther from the scene what if something went boom and u taking some one in the back of your amb by litter and well there u and the crew go. now ur going to need more amb. to pick u burn butts up

  • truuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Great vid! How long did it take to put it out?

  • omg the only thing u can really do to that is let it burn its self out and try to calm the flames form a ladder

  • Fire that big and the Aid Unit's first due? NICE! Kidding guys...

  • Excellent video!

  • THANK YOU!
