  • You are so lucky that big bolder didnt crush you man.

  • Shit man you left enough dirt in there to hide a 1/4 oz nugget at least - clean, spotless I would love to come along after you and clean up - really cleanup! Many times I have come across the same dirt left behind after you have done all the work and I have easy pickings,, thanks

  • @flyningfish Hmmm........Interesting angle......guess we're in it for different reasons.

    Take care :)

  • Please buy a tripod.

  • Rock Poppin thats awesome Bro!

  • So Gold can often be found under heavy river rocks?

  • Shit all that work for those few little peaces of gold

  • @mogges1 I enjoy the work and many would too......LOL........gold is just a plus. Take care.

  • @hixonAu I am with you ! I pan every weekend, a few flakes here and there are nice, being out there means the world, no phones, no non-sense, just a guy and nature and by the look of your video, the dogs too.. Cheers

  • @mogges1 : I'd rather have pieces of gold than peaces of gold any day. Are you just too lazy to get your hands dirty or what?

  • @pmoyer50 LOL will thanks for the spelling B.DID you get the point, or are you one of those kind that just find fault.FAULT FINDERS.

  • no wise guy mankind had developed a tool called a cordless drill...it can go anywhere and do work with out a power cable =)

n my pecker is used for many things but not4drillin in rocks...

  • amazing, how do u know there may be some potential gold then..?

  • i'd be more worried about that boulder crushin my ass while im gettin a sample...personally i would have moved it...but what evr works 4 u ....u tha boss..

theres sum expanding cement crap that you can drill holes into a rock fill it with a cement mixture n as it drys it expands n it would turn any boulder into small moveable stones..

i dnt kno its tru name or exact weight but i kno it must be lighter tha a come along or cherry picker

  • @925dude How would you drill the hole in the rock???? I know with your dick!

  • @MultiShitforbrains theres a thing called a cordless battery powered drills i don't know if you have those on the planet you from but here on earth they sell them in places called "stores"

its ok tho cuz i kno people like you like to do things the hard stubborn(my ways the right way)attitude n very ignorant way.

and what i do with my "dick" you should ask yo momma...shes was like mac donalds n told me baby "i'm lovin it"...

  • i'm not dogging your style but couldn't you use a cherry picker and just pull it clean out of the hole, it seems like your doubleing your work buy having to pick up all the rocks that you put back in there to prop up the original rock, i guess what ever floats your boat tho

  • thanks it beat carrying a come-along on my short trips. You been to the island?

  • I've heard that the bears and mountain lions in Canada actually search out miners to eat because they taste better than other people. Is this true?

  • @gregryf Well they won't like the way I taste.......little like gun powder :)

    Take care.

  • @hixonAu Yea I'm in Alaska and taste like gunpowder and lead-they dont like me much either.

  • @gregryf that is the dumbest goddamn question i have ever heard in my life

  • rock popping? that's why you get a small come-along and some straps, pull the fucker out of there

  • @flamedrag18 LOL........you know it :)

  • @flamedrag18 no shit, damn.

  • @flamedrag18 Agreed, I just bought a 8000lb winch. Win..

  • Great video!! Pretty country! BC cool. I'm in AZ. decent gold here! I use a hand winch or comealong with a five foot pry bar. If that don't work I have a 95 dodge dakota V8 4x4 lol!!! super video geat info

  • @bradmoore8 LOL.......I enjoy using the old truck when I can......beats cranking......best of luck to you this season in AZ.......nice country down there........Take care.

  • Great video!! Pretty country! BC cool. I'm in AZ. decent gold here!

  • DANG! I thought those rocks on the ground was gold. LOL!!!!!!!!! When he first started speaking.

  • Also what state are you in?

  • @Brian01331 I'm in B.C. Canada

  • Can you get in trouble prospecting on someone's claim? Not that I would, I am sure people have made simple calculation errors and ended up in someone's claim.

  • @Brian01331 In the USA you can get in trouble as well in Can.......you should find clubs or contact your local Gov to find out where claims are and the claim lines........some clubs will have group claims and you can try to track down the claim owner to get permission........I have come across panners on my claims and I just let them know how to go about it rather then freak out on them.......some people get cranky.

    Take care.

  • Not bad at today's prices for a days work which isn't really that much like work when you enjoy it. I know down here in N.Georgia it's great doing a good days work. You should make a N.Georgia trip someday. I think you'll be happy with a days work around here. Just look for Towns Creek on your maps close to Clevland, GA.or Helen, GA. The color is plentiful if you can read your streams.

  • Whats The CLaim mean? is this private property? I see this term on every website

  • @CondemnedPatriot A claim is placed on A area of land for mineral rights.

  • @hixonAu So can another person pan/ mine on another persons claim? Or is it essentially privatizing land?

  • @CondemnedPatriot Best to find claim owner before......there are clubs and open ground but

you need to find out in your area where you can get claim maps......another good thing to do is

look for gold forums on the inter-net that are from around your area.......that will be A big help in

where to start in your area of interest.

  • @CondemnedPatriot A claim is a place that you bought the rights to for a certain amount of time. If you claim jump, it means you are on someone's property that they purchased the rights to. I hear in the US they shoot people for claim jumping!! You need to get permission from someone to be out there. Might as well get it from your mining and mineral rights government agency. They will steer you to legitimate places. Not neccessarily the right places, but at least you know you won't get shot!

  • that is a genius idea

  • Are you rich now?

  • can i come along with yall some time? lol

  • Anyone noticed there is a word " SExy " in the url?

    haha

  • Great work man! Can't wait to get out next!

  • That big rock needs to go away. You got a good spot. good video.

  • How should I choose a location for panning gold? I know where some places are about 6 hours from here and was thinking about going for a couple days.

  • Hey hixon, Great work and nice video. I'm a fan of sniping too. I liked your rock popping! That technique was new to me and very creative.

    The gold was sweet!!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Heavy Pans!

  • good shit dude like your vids!

  • good work

  • Sick video man real good

  • Thanks :)

  • not to mention them two-legged variety o bear, nice rifle ! :)

  • LOL : ) I know what you mean.

  • Looks like a lot of work but you really hit the gold. Wow!

  • do you bring a gun out with you ?

  • The places I go........bear-spray is not going to cut it.

  • @Frankenpalin Some people wear bells to announce their presence to the grizzlies and take pepper spray. Grizzly poop generally has little bells in it and smells like pepper spray!

  • @Frankenpalin Some suggest using small bells on your clothing to warn the bears of your presence and pepper spray if that fails. However, if you find grizzly poop, it usually smells of pepper spray and has little bells in it!

    A firearm works better.

  • Great vid, going out soon here in BC too. Rock popping outstanding! Watch that widow maker boulder we solo prospectors need to take care.
