we are what backs the pound/doller not gold us we are a commodity and treated as such the elite be they american or british have nothing but slavery to offer us can no one think beyond electing another politician...
jarden: lets see after 31 october when bills must return to state and you must understand undemp rising and europe havent started yet, allso they have "cheated" with the paramaters for emp in US - and dont forget consumers are saving atm - and will probably do more time. And then we have the robotization of society - u must reorganize the entire work force and their deployments moving ppl in to interact online cyperspace obsoleting MANY current jobs in near future..
I'm Sorry, but I'm really starting to question and wondering if maybe...just maybe...our team (led by Gerald Celente, Peter Schiff, MOT and others) is wrong about all the doom and gloom in the economy, and in fact, we are pulling out of the Recession, and that the next great Depression is NOT going to happen.
Even Dr. Doom himself, Nuriel Rhoubini, is saying that we are pulling out and the Recession will be over by the end of 2009.
It is true in the case of CNBC USA. But I don't think that is the case for CNBC Asia or CNBC Europe because I do believe they are reporting news, at least what they are talking is really serious stuff. On CNBC Asia or CNBC Europe, you would not hear some stupid people, like Jim "Crazy" or Larry "Cutlow" spreading biased statements or political views! Enough of Jim "Crazy" or Larry "Cutlow"!! Get out from my sight!!! I just hope Jon Stewart re-examine CNBC USA again!!
he probably was too leveraged when commodities crashed in 08 but if you just bought gold or silver (actual bullion, not futures) then you would be fine and have nothing to worry about
I do want to know where it is from. Interesting video for television audience examine the business news channel, in relationship to the financial meltdown!
Finally we all agree, CNBC is all noise and misinformation. It is indeed vaudeville!! I gave up on that many years ago.

If you have any question about the strength of the economy try paying back 12 trillion dollars. All of USA can't do it.

The first guy talking, in the white shirt, was featured on a short lived show called "Wall street warriors," that kid has made some bucks!
Interestingly enough, Jim Rodgers was also featured on that show, this was about 3 years ago, before the most recent crash.

I sent Rogers an email and asked him, how come the Stateside business MSM won't show you in the daytim? He said, ask them.
He knows that you have to put up w/a lot of their crap to get your message out. But at least the rest of the world is willing to listen.

These shows do suck. But it also sucks that Rogers has to do these to get his message out.
