Great match. Hopefully they'll meet at AO. Ana's improved her mental toughness if she was able to take Clijsters to three sets.

@camaranina It was only because of Kim's lack of concentration Ivanovic got the second set. Kim is not a good matchup for Ana, because Kim's too atheletic and consistently powerful. If Kim plays her level, Ana can give Kim a good match, but in the end Kim is the better player.

Umm I love you man but Kim could school Maria from the back of the court anyday. ESPECIALLY right now in their careers. You have somewhat of a point with Serena but you really shouldn't have mentioned Maria here. She doesn't have the wheels nor the athleticism. And Serena hasn't beaten Kim in almost 9 years man. Couldn't hang with Kim from the baseline when they met in 09. She frustrated the hell outta Serena that match Haha.

@jproxursoxoff are you on drugs, loads of players can. she's good at the back but nowhere near the best. she's more about her speed and defence and also her ability to take the ball early. There are a lot of big hitters out there (sharapova, serena) who would be better than her on the baseline.

@jamess05milan ....also its obvious that Serena is capable of raising her game to a level where no one else can reach, as she's done in the past against Maria, Justine, Venus and others. I just dont know if she could pull off that kind of form against Kim because she's too solid off of both wings and plays damn good defense. She's gotta prove it to me, and she hasn't yet. But I sense the two are destined for a pretty good rematch sometime this year and we shall see.

And yes, I am on drugs :)

@jproxursoxoff okay, my turn. i like clijsters and i hope she is back to top form this year but you are over rating her slightly. the reason serena hasn't beaten her for 9 years is because or clijsters retirement and serena'a injury. i'm not saying its a certain that serena would beat clijsters at the moment but i would bet my money on her in the matchup. as for sharapova, i'm a hardcore fan and she doesn't get enough credit. if sharapova gets that serve of hers together then.....uh oh.
