The music is originally from Yoshi's Cookie, an old puzzle game that was for the NES, SNES, and Game Boy (the NES version is also on the Wii's Virtual Console). Puzzle Mode in Tetris DS is themed entirely around Yoshi's Cookie in general; hence the artwork on the bottom screen and basically everything except the Tetris blocks on the top screen.
True.. I still play it, even though I'm a grown up now. I still think it's crazy to include a swastika in any type of game... exept for hhrrm Wolfenstein 3d perhaps.
nice that they did a little tribute to the way too understated game yoshi's cookie
