In the USA it is concidered as a SBR once you put the gun in the system.
In order to deal with it you should either buy the system without the Buttstock and the Forehand grip or to buy the 16" barrel version of the RONI which is about to get in the market very soon... Keep checking our website and facebook page.
This is a really stupid question but if you add this to your pistol does that mean it is now a SBR in essence? Some insight would be appreciated. I have a G17 and thinking about getting one.
@palautog23 I'll see if I can answer. The silencer is attached to the barrel of the Glock not to the Roni "shell"
The Glock barrels move as the slide goes backwards. You are seeing this magnified because of the length of the silencer. Try to look at a Glock with the slide locked reward.
@batkins852 longer muzzle for the RONI is available in the USA via Command Arms Accessories. longer barrel for the pistol you will need to locate via gun shops
@batkins852 the RONI has no barrel. it is only a muzzle. if you are from the USA, you can talk to our American branch - we do make a longer version for the American market, but i am not too sure when it will be ready to go.
@ThePimpdaddy187 i have explained it many times here... but here we go again: this has nothing to do with the RONI - that is how the Glock works - browning mech'. hope it helps to understand. thanks

@cd9ers it is able to take a hand gun, and quickly and easily make it into a compact carbine, and it would have the ability to add more attachments than just the pistol. i would buy one without a doubt.
Are there longer barrel versions available? and Any idea when the S+W M&P 9 or 40 will get their kit? I look foreward to further innovative products from CAA Tac. :3
@ELITEHAMSTER123 since i am the camera man, i can tell you for sure that it is not steel. i trust the sutter 100%. no - i am kiding... i have used long arm with the camera on top
@caatactical thats pretty steady work then! Either way, awesome shots, because rarely do we ever (or should we ever) see the muzzle of an awesome firearm
@Captjack208 well, that's not entirely accurate. It would be illegal to install on a regular pistol without SBR-ing it first. The BATF allows the sale of machine gun parts and manuals on how to create suppressors at home, but the second you convert your ak to full auto or build a silencer you've violated the National Firearms Act. A grey area would be to purchase it under the pretext that you would not install it until SBRing your glock...but that's risky.
Last time I checked... This was illegal and that it can only be converted by a class III dealer because a barrel over 12" is a rifle but... The min barrel length for a rifle is 16". So it is illegal.
@mout12 If you live in the USA you dont need a special license. You do need to do extra paperwork with the ATF, and pay a $200 tax though. Your local laws may differ and/or be more restrictive.

@IcarusX72 Yes. Glocks, and many other handguns, have a Tilting Barrel design to aid in chambering of rounds and to increase reliabilty. The rear of the barrel tilts downwards when the gun is cycled to decrease the angle for the next round to be loaded. This action tilts the muzzle of the barrel upwards. Which is why you see the suppressor moving up and then back down when the RONI is being fired.
@IcarusX72 remember, it is still mounted on the glock threads, so it will bounce like any other barrel mounted extension. kind weird looking on this kit though.
It is not actually shaking. The pistol he's using in that scene is a Glock and it has a tilting barrel action so when firing the barrel tilts up after the round has left the barrel and the slide moves rearward . Since the suppressor is attached to said barrel it will tilt up with it. You don't see or notice this when the suppressor is not attached because it happens really fast but can usually be seen in slow motion videos.
