as a green arrow fanatic, that made me 3 kinds of happy. it was very excellently done. The costumes, fighting, tone, and choice of cast was perfect. However there was some emphasis on the green arrow killing people and he would never shoot someone that was already down. anyways ur still awesome and i respect you for it.

Dude, this sucked, a real fan film would dipict Green Arrow the right way. He doesn't kill people and he doesn't stand there and let people kick the crap out of him. The real Green Arrow is a hero, not some random vigilante. This does no honor to Green Arrow.

RBP, I liked the short, on its own, with all other mythology and back-story aside. Sure, JLA361's point reminds me of the older pre-retcon of Green Arrow, which by the way shows up in JLU cartoons, of GA being something of a kind of 1960s do-gooder (which is my own memory of GA). That said, i do like the Long Bow series and the post 9/11 (post-modern?) telling of GA, as the angry vigilante killer. Either way, sit back and let your mind be entertained. Dare I say it's more realistic? Cheers!

You fail. Go read Mike Grell's book, The Longbow Hunters. It was a very dark take on Green Arrow. So at one point in time, yes he was a straight up vigilante and he did kill people, with minimal (if any) hesitation. There is nothing wrong with being a comic book "noob," but you clearly have no clue about the character's history. Heck, this fan film is even named after the Mike Grell mini-series. Google is your friend.

@TheNativeDialect You know its funny how you immediately assume I did not read any of his comics but in fact I own all of them. I have spent over $300 on tracking down and purchasing the original Green Arrow comics. Also many people have agreed with me above so I am obviously not alone in my views. In Long Bow Hunters the Comic he kills 2 people. Thats it, no more no less. Also in modern comics, for example the "Quiver" series he doesn't kill a single soul. So think about that.

If you read it, then you would know that Ollie did kill people. Nice to see that you removed the incriminating post. You said Green Arrow never kills, and that isn't true. Especially in this context. This is clearly based on Long Bow Hunters, a story in which the Green Arrow was violent and a killer-vigilante. You were wrong. Point blank period. Don't try to use semantics as a rhetorical strategy. Green Arrow does not kill anymore. But he has killed in the past. Facts are facts.

Thank you, it's not every day I get to see my favorite Superhero raped. The fight scenes lacked timing, the dialog was piss poor, and the news sequences look like the rest of the film, making the transitions awkward. I mean, do you know how to write anything but ominous narration? And the cutting to comic panels? Pretentious as hell.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the film. I shot this with the intent to do a three part series but one of the main actors passed away so this will probably be the extent for awhile. Maybe down the road if the situation was right I could do something more but for now this will probably be it. Thanks again for the post.
