Carbon is not a pollutant! Learn some biology and ecology! We need to go after real polluters like the military industrial complex and the chemical companies.
We also need to get away from oil, but not because of carbon emissions, but because of the other noxious byproducts of oil combustion. Before the Prohibition era, the oil companies did not have a monopoly, and clean-burning alcohol-based fuels compete with the oil companies. Alcohol based fuels can be produced from starchy crops, thus no drilling would be necessary.

She died. In chemistry, you learn that not all molecules are the same. They combine in ways that make them react and change in differing environments. Carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels is different from the co2 that we exhale.
How about mentioning that Al Gore is very involved and making the rules in this cap and trade scheme and selling carbon credits with his companies...Generation Investment Management...so he can make billions of off tax payers? Need to head it off, Thom.
