  • Who can tell me this: Can you have the phone plugged into mains power and have the earphones in at the same time? It looks to me like they go into the same socket?

  • You can't, blame it on Samsung (they are not expert in all areas... :-) It means you cannot listen to - say - 5 hours of music, because the battery will dry. Some says you can then change battery (you get 2 in the package) but it is a pain in the ass...

  • samsung is crazy!!

  • what's better a blackberry curve 3810 or a samsung i780 I dont know wich one to get

    help please.

  • I love my i780 it roundhousekicks kicks my ol' BlackBerry...

  • Cool technology, but why would you want that optical thing AND a touch screen?

You could awkwardly steer a cursor to an icon and click it...or you could just tap it.

If there was no touch screen, the "mouse" would be nice, but it's not much use on this phone.

  • Maybe Samsung wants create some unique stuff (as they are expert in display technology, it won't be hard). And it is an advantage that its OS will be WM6 for Pocket Phone. WM6 sucks anyway but WM6 for Smartphones is worse.

  • the buttons look small. i just wanna know if it's convenient when typing compared to blackberry's and nokia e61i

  • It is easy to type. And T9 dictionary is surprisingly helpful, as it remembers words that you typed (and originally not in the vocab).

  • do u know how much is this baby going to cost? i'm deciding between getting the nokia 95, n81 or this phone.

  • nice..good

  • Very, very nice mobile device!I like it so much.

  • touchscreen and mousepointer in one gadget? nice :D but Nokias are so much better than samsungs :P

  • NOKIA is very nice but this phone looks awesome.

  • Nokia cheapp puuushea*** ~

  • It may be über-easiest for Apple-slaves, but hey, that's is not everyone...

Actually I could type an SMS blindly on my old Nokia 6230, and I could do it with this. And yes, it is useful if you drive a lot.

  • i feel the same way. i tried my friends iPhone and typing while driving is out of the question. i can type SMS's blindly too on my phone. i like these type smartphones much better.

  • shouldn't eveyone be targeting the iPhone format of navigation? Its the easiest, most intuitive, etc.

  • Could come in handy driving.
