  • mars is blue cult vs mars sky is red sect

  • Why does mars has a blue sky if there no water to refect? O.O

  • @robloxgaara22

Earth's sky is blue not because of the water, but the combination of Nitrogen and Oxygen scattering the blue wavelengths of light (absorbing the red side of the spectrum).

  • @skuzzypunkkid Did u say Oxygen? so if we take a shit load of seeds over there, and plant, will we be able to live there?

  • thats EATH

  • i love how you filmed this in nevada

  • Everything in this world is a conspiracy! Don't even trust the existence of this world and yourself! for all you know, you might just be an AI in an RPG games or whatsoever! The only way to find the truth is by suicide! C'mon people do it! So i can rob your houses later until i'm the last man standing in this world, yeah.

  • the sky in mars is red. You can see the shadow of the walmart tripod. Fake.

  • This isn't Mars. The sky is too blue.

  • Martian sky is not blue as on Earth because Martian air is extremely thin, and the dust particles in the air are large relative to the wavelength of visible light. The dust particles preferentially absorb blue light and effectively act as mirrors by scattering the remaining wavelengths: this produces the butterscotch color of the atmosphere.

  • @Komendyak

I wonder what the Martian sky looks like...once the dust has been filtered out?

  • @skuzzypunkkid The iron oxide dust grains in the upper atmosphere of Mars affect the color of the Martian sky. These dust grains are the right size to scatter all colors of light from red to blue by Rayleigh scattering. If, as on Earth, Rayleigh scattering were the only effect, then the Martian sky would be white. However the iron oxide dust grains in the upper atmosphere of Mars do a very effective job of absorbing shorter wavelength blue light.

  • @skuzzypunkkid Earth's sky is blue because nitrogen and oxygen molecules in Earth's atmosphere reflect blue light, on Mars those molecules are really rare (Nitrogen 2.7% and Oxygen 0.13%), not enough to make the sky blue even without any dust.

  • @Komendyak

Well, I already got that part; I was just interested in the Rayleigh scattering effect of the CO2 on Mars (minus the dust).

  • @skuzzypunkkid It wouldn't be blue anyways because martian atmosphere doesn't have enough nitrogen and oxygen. And what is your problem with this video been taken in nevada and not on mars?

  • can robot make a Tripod and put that camera??? FAKE

  • So NASA sent a multi million dollar tripod to Mars eh? Yeah nice try....cool video though.

  • Ohhh come on!!!

Look on shadow of camera tripod..

its not a base of mars explorers! :) hehehe

    Nice day/night EARTH video :)

  • i thought the red planet wasa bit more.... red...

  • Love the shot of the Milky Way.

  • OMG!!! its!!!...... earth -.-

  • yes yes mars does have a blue sky.

  • that place is not mars

  • We were taught in school that the sky on Mars is red-orange color.

    Blue sky only on Earth.

  • @MrSrgj Well you were taught wrong LOL The skies on Mars are blue for the same reason they are on Earth... Raleigh scattering On a day when the dust storms blow, then they will be red, like they are here in a dust storm say in Iraq (google it). because the air is thinner, the sky would be a darker blue, like the video Kinda like it is out here in the high desert of Nevada at 11,000 feet

But only problem is, the Rovers don't have a video camera

  • This is Arizona, I lived there for years..

  • Mars is supposed to have an orange sky in the day time since further from the sun and the angle the sun's light hits the planet is on a different angle from the way it does on earth

  • Gotta love the shadow of a tripod bought at walmart

  • BASIC SCIENCE - The sky on Mars is not blue as on Earth because Martian air is extremely thin, it doesn't contain the massive amount of nitrogen that colours the Earths sky blue. The dust particles in the Martian air are large relative to the wavelength of visible light. These dust particles preferentially absorb blue light and effectively act as mirrors by scattering the remaining wavelengths: this produces the butterscotch color of the Martian atmosphere.

  • I cant speak for this video but yes, Mars does have a blue sky. Check it out : /watch?v=VEVrt079Gw0

    We've been lied to again

  • @swat85 Oh but of course. God knows what would happen if the public found out that the Martian atmosphere was blue and not reddish-brown!!!!! CHAOS!!!!

No. The Martian atmosphere is 95% Carbon dioxide, and 2.7% nitrogen. The blue skies on Earth come from an Earth atmosphere of 80% Nitrogen. Mars's skies are reddish brown, not blue...

  • Oh come on.... blue sky on Mars?? Gimme a break

  • Mars my ass

  • mars.... oh really

  • Yes, Blue sky on Mars, stupid americans.... Your TV should be broken...

    /watch?v=uXZfZ-tXwmM

  • @psyrain why does it have to be stupid Americans? I'm sure plenty of the people commenting "Blue sky on Mars?" are Americans too.

  • Blue sky on Mars. Really?

  • blue sky on mars...indeed..........

  • of course its not mars you can clearly see the tripod stand and best buy camera shadow plus its too elevated to be a rover and NASA doesnt leave them sitting in one place that long.. one they have to position themselves to obtain solar charges and shield from subzero temps at night.. nice video though

  • That's what it looks like a little less blue maybe ? Marsanomolyresearchdotcom the truth !

  • Desierto de Atacama... puta que es lindo! ya estuve ahí

  • Would someone please explain to me why, when there is so much excellent, fascinating footage from Mars, someone would bother to make a fake - and an obvious one at that?

  • -the video is fine, actually rather good. It's just mislabeled. That is the problem.and now we have the conspiracy nuts jump on this

  • the sky is blue - that's earth - booooo, hissssss.

    there's almost no nitrogen there

  • @alex29443 Fun fact, the sky is kinda blue on Mars too :) just a little pale. But the video is still Earth tho XD

  • the sky is blue and it wouldnt be on mars right?

isnt our sky blue because the water is reflective and makes it that color?

  • @123thatoneguy go take a physics class

  • I just want to know what the song is T-T.

  • if the tripod and camera shadows weren't seen then we all might have believed you.

  • This is also a false movie. Everybody who wants to watch real colors on Mars find in YouTube search video with Russian and English subtitles "Mars, as it is". I was shocked and I have change my opinion about this planet.

  • you can tell it is not mars because what we see as a blue sky (the atmosphere) is extremely dusty on mars and you will only see a hazy brown or orange sky when viewed from the surface.

  • Shadow of a camera and tripod on mars? nope.

  • This is not Mars. It is the inside of Philip Glass's creative genius.

  • This isn't mars, mars' sky is orange.

  • @The1Skinsfan Don't U know your government lied to U about Mars? Mars is not a red planet.

  • @Tonimonsanti Haha funny.

  • @The1Skinsfan

It is also a governments lie. The sky on Mars is blue.

  • blue sky on mars :D this is SPARTA!!!

  • thats not mars this is earth cuz i saw your telescope in the shadow

  • this is not mars this video ist on the earth

  • duh the sky isn't blue on MARS you need different atmosphere for that

  • Know what would be cool? If someone (a rover or probe) made a timelapse vid like this ON MARS! How cool would THAT be?

This, however, isn't so good. Since it's just a timelapse vid in some desert on Earth, you'd think the cameraman could have afforded a much better cam, done a much better job, and uploaded a much more HIGH QUALITY vid. After all, how much money and time did it take you to drive out to a desert on Earth?

Thumbs down. I'm making an animated Time Lapse from Mars. It will be better.

  • @MartianStories You thumbed down his video? You sure showed him!

  • @CertifiedGooner729 Yeah. I know. It was harsh. But, with some dedication, several years of therapy, and a new hardcore meth habit, he'll be a better person.

  • blue sky in mars? didn't know that 2 thirds of mars was water. damn.

  • look at dat fuckin milky way

  • see the tri-pod at the bottom of the screen when the sun rises the first time

  • bruno mars!!!!

  • wth i feel for this again?

  • i dident know mars had a blue sky?? lol

  • very mars indeed!

  • That's not MARS ?!!!

  • Seriously, guy, do your research before posting incorrect titles. Didn't you even see the shadow of the tripod (0:04 - 0:07)?

  • @djxatlanta I don't think he needs to do fucking research to know that it's no Mars he's on. -.-

  • The sky is only blue during sunrise and sunset on mars! Pretty, but not from Mars. Plus, Kamenoseji proves such is the case!

  • OKAY WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK DICK IF ITS ON MARS OR NOT ITS STILL BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Blue sky on Mars !

  • It could be fake, just a camera on a desert. But I hope not, it looks so beautiful at night!

  • @Oz6102 it is fake coz sky on mars is yellow-brown, only during sunset sky turn blue but not that bright like on earth. btw there are probably footage took near European observatory.

  • @CMob09 Nope. I'll go over the facts of Earths atmosphere for you. Around 75 percent of the air is nitrogen. 25 percent is Oxygen, 2% argon ( I think) and 1 percent is other. Our Sky is blue because blue is one of the shortest wavelengths in the spectrum and is the only one that passes through all the particles straight from the sun. Same applies to Mars.

  • 0:34 Because tripods are very common gear on Mars.

  • name of music? :)

  • Day and night on Mars... NOOOOOT!

  • Only joking, particles of water in an atmosphere only occur on Earth. Mars has a red atmosphere for lack of oxygen and H20, sunlight passing through these chemicals shine blue colours so this is defo a video of a desert on Earth.

  • @CMob09 didn't see your third comment, NASA has said themselves mars can and DOES have a blue sky from time to time - mostly when there have not been any big duststorms or anything i think.

  • Only joking, particles of water in an atmosphere only occur on Earth. Mars has a red atmosphere for lack of oxygen and H20, sunlight passing through these chemicals shine blue colours so this is defo a video of a desert on Earth.

  • No seas on Mars, so no blue sky. The only reason our sky is blue is because of the reflection of light particals from our oceans which act like a mirror.

  • No seas on Mars, so no blue sky. The only reason our sky is blue is because of the reflection of light particals from our oceans which act like a mirror.

  • @CMob09 that is SO not true - the sky is blue because blue is the shortest wavelength... pure and simple - its sad people don't understand these basic facts of life when in reality its merely elementary school science. O.o

  • @Electricspaceodyssey Education is a privilege

  • Ебанулись марс? автор хуйлан лол

  • @MCfresh56 ага, так же как и съемки с луны)))

  • No atmosphere on Mars. No blue sky.

Its pure sunlight there. Without going through air and playing blue.

This video is shot from Earth. Author, fail.

  • it is beautiful, got me... both ways. I thought it's Mars.

  • This movie was taken on the earth. The center of diurnal motion coincides the south celestial pole.

The spin axis of the Mars points to (RA, DEC) = (9h10m, -52d53m). If the camera were set on the Mars, stars would rotate centering the constellation of Vela.

  • @kamenoseiji what da... youre right!

  • @kamenoseiji ... ur a genious i think everyone fucking liked this because it seemed legit but ur a smart man. whered u go to college?

  • @kamenoseiji Do you even need that level of proof? The sky is blue in the video!

  • @kamenoseiji i dont know a thing you just said but yea i agree.

  • @kamenoseiji but wouldn't it be easier to say that the sky is blue so it can't be mars?

  • @kamenoseiji of course!

  • @kamenoseiji uh.. and the fact that there is a camera tripod..

  • @kamenoseiji if you made that up it is some really good bullshit.

  • Fake. Why?

1."The sunlit sky appears blue because AIR scatters short-wavelength light more than longer wavelengths. Since blue light is at the short wavelength end of the visible spectrum, it is more strongly scattered in the atmosphere than long wavelength red light. The result is that the human eye perceives blue when looking toward parts of the sky other than the sun". - source wiki.

Well, since on Mars ain't no air... no blue sky.

    2. The Mars rover has no tripod at all, like in the shadow.

  • Why is the sky blue? I thought the sky on mars was pinkish.

  • there is no blue sky on Mars....Its has no air...Fake but beautiful

  • I've been told that this in not Mars, but the Atacama Desert in Chile. Here's proof (remove spaces): sergebrunier. com /gallerie /24atac
