I'm not against anyone for their religious beliefs but when they think that their religion should hold political authority over a country, it's wrong. It's so fucking wrong. Christianity is the majority religion in America and Obama was voted in with a 67% rate (give or take). Obviously, quite a few christians voted for him. You shouldn't take these people to represent the majority of Christians because everyone is different, and religion means something different for each person. All of my friends are religious as well as informed. Most accept evolution as fact. Are they less Christian, or simply not fools? Judge the person, not the group.

dalamaarthedark, "separation of church and state" was NEVER meant by our founding fathers to mean taking God out of our country. It was meant to stop the government from enforcing a state RELIGION (such as the Church of England did in the U.K.) on the people. It was meant to keep freedom of religion and worship safe, NOT to take it away.

This country WAS founded on Judeo-Christian ethics. Which God are you talking about? There's only one God. We have kicked the Lord OUT of our government, everthing from taking the Ten Commandments off of city and state monuments, to taking prayer out of schools, etc., etc. Our country has gotten worse and worse, filled with violence and crime.
