Of course there were alot of other amazing talents during the reign of the Beatles and now adays there are very few really talented, innovative musicians (at least not ones that have made it big). @timetravelingtheater The band has to be a certain age to be eligible for the Hall of Fame. Ex: Queen didnt get in till i think 2001, The Beatles got in during the 90's, as did The Who and Pink Floyd a few years after them.

@krisforrowan2010 yeah, kurt really struck a chord with my generation (gen x). i still can't put my finger on it,but back in the 90's we all really connected with kurt's music. and i didn't even buy any of their stuff till right after he died in '94. my first album was in utero and i listened to it front to back while reading the lyrics 3 times on a long bus trip. i was hooked and bought everything else.
