It amazes that they were able to shy away from killing off any of the older kids in that pointless bus crash that just killed the driver and Ali - who was only in 5 or so episodes total - but they're willing to kill one of the little kids who had the potential for so much story as he got older.

OMG...this is almost like BJ's death! Where Bobbie and Tonys daughter was a in a bus accident and died and that's how Maxie got her heart!!! They were also related so it worked.

What kind of person is so obssessed with men that ther dont keep an eye on there toddler. Im only 14, so im not a mom, but i do have a nephew who is a bit younger than Jake, and when hes around, i keep an eye on him better than his mom.

I have a theory. According to spoilers, Jake's kidney is given to Josslyn. To be a kidney donor, relatives are the most common matches. How does GH plan to explain Jake and Josslyn being a match for one an other? I have a small theory that Lucky may be Jake's biological father after all, since he is related to Josslyn. Plus, if you think about it, Jason isnt the only person in PC with blonde hair and blue eyes, the spencer family also has those traits.
GH writer Bob Guza told SID that something big will happen that will cause JaSam to try and have a baby this year. I have a feeling that Jake's death will be the reason.

@Jules8894 I feel there is a lot more story potential in Jake surviving, but its not looking good for him to live. I can't believe they are doing this!!!

@Jules8894 We don't know if Jake will die yet, spoilers are simply just spoilers and GH is notoriously known for hyping things up to cause a stir with the fans. As for people's beliefs that Jake's death is to make ways for JaSam to have a baby, I don't believe that at all. If anything, I would say Jake's death would prevent JaSam from having a baby because Jason will be too sad to even think about having another child or replacing Jake. So I have no clue where this whole attitude came from.

Will everbody stop blaming Jasam non of this couple fans are jumping with bloody joy. I will miss jake and agree he did not have to die for meh and others, to have our baby. Sam isnt the monster you liason fans make her out too be nor was she, when they destoryed her. Jake will be miss but Lucky&Liz will cry on the 22nd he dies right before my bday, Not a great gift. Lnl2 plz love cam and aiden tightly Jiz stay friends but nunthing more. Jasam dnt get discouraged jus stop the bashing

OMG....WHY to save Josslyn and prop Sam And Jason having a baby. They didn't need to kill off Jake for that. If rumors are true and Vanessa Marcil's leaving and this happens. I LEAVE!!!!

Omg my heart just broke after watching this :( I still can't believe they went this route and will have Jake died so, Jasam can finally have their baby and Jake to save josslyn with his organ. Which will try and redeem Carly in our eyes. If they really want to have Jasam have a baby then made it like lucky was indeed jakes dad. So much potential will be wasted know that Jake will die. Cause it will happen. They already taped his death :(

This is just a BJ/Maxie re-do from 1994-- and it will be done badly--Guza is too worried about the mob stories that have dominated GH 4ever to write anything else well. Jake had great potential as a Weber/Spencer/Quartermaine, so why not kill off Cam or Spencer who we never see? But no, let's kill off every last Quartermaine there is and every shread of Jason as an emotional being instead. More Sonny and mob, mob, mob.Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

this story should be about Jake&his family Jason who wanted to do what is best for his son Lucky&Liz.. all three of them cared for that kid!!!

OMG, how heartbreaking does this look? I actually started to sob when Elizabeth screamed Jake's name. Becky put so much panic and fear and love into that one syllable. Wow. She is an amazing actress. And then Lucky crying on Luke's shoulder... double wow. This storyline is going to be a tearjerker.
But, awww to Liz and Lucky at 0:40. So sweet. I feel horrible for them though. They are great parents and they don't deserve this.

@Nacha255 You know how much I love LL2 and Jon and Becky so I know they will have me sobbing like a baby, Steve undoubtably will as well. I knew it was coming, but seeing it is totally different. This is heartwrenching.

Really disgusted with GH for killing off Jake to open way for Sam to have a baby. Will be taking a GH vacation only YT Lante for the month of March. Breaks my heart that GH is stooping so low.

Who cares about Jason being the focus of the promo? It's about the focus of the STORY LINE as a whole which will more likely be Liz.

Until Jake is dead, I will believe that he is alive. GH has the tendency to hype up things and make promos that they know will cause stirs. So until I see that Jake is dead on this show (even then it's suspicious with this soap opera), I won't believe he is.

It's not exactly verbatim the same as BJ. She was killed in a random drunk driving accident on a school bus. I think this is supposed to be a hit and run and Robin is either supposed to have driven the car or make a mistake while treating him. And why is everybody trippin about Jason?? Yeah he could have could have fought Liz and Lucky on the custody thing but it didn't end up like that. So now his character gets to carry the regret....nothing new there.

okay, have to say it, and I hate this promo for having me say it. I'm a Liason fan till my heart is content, but that promo is FOS. Hello, the beginning of the promo acts like Jason didn't have a choice that everyone asked his ass to give up Jake when that's not what happened. And now majority is focused on him. Get out of here with that. That was Elizabeth that had to be with that kid practically 24/7. So really I don't give a shit about Jason's pain. This story bettere be about Liz.
