Wow... I had this on my android a long time ago. I mean over a year ago. It talked back at me and everything. Easy as hell! And apple calls it new. The same as "facetime" remember that? They was trying to make videocalls something NEW and they had been around for 5 years. Apple makes me laugh. Apple fans; how does it feel you never got that Iphone 5? Jobbs fooled you out of it. Apple takes these ideas and makes them successful. So they may aswell be new.

@entwistlesjd Well, I work with these kinds of phones and devices for people with asbergers and autism. They still utilize (soz for spelling) alot of these functions. As some of them cannot speak but sign-language aso. I think the mainstram crowd just got tired of it. I don´t know ANYONE who uses "FACETIME" or something like that. I am pretty damn sure Siri is gonna end up the same way. It is nice to see but you get tired of it pretty fast. Or so me and my friends did wich had this for years.Old

@jakethesneaky Yeah, dude, this originally came with iPhone OS 3.0 back in 2009. The thing about Siri is that the damn thing's actually smart and can understand different words and meanings, unlike older voice recognition software. And iPhone 5? It'll be along, it's just not ready yet. You see, I'd prefer to wait for the best phone instead of just settling for a good one. That's what makes Apple different. Instead of releasing about 10 good models a year they instead release the single best one.

@TheSluremus Yes I remember but it wasn´t new then either. Just video calls. I was very impressed by AI about 10 years ago and could see things like this in the future. I got my first phone wich was a NOKIA 3330 and I recall myself voice controling it. with my android I got my first talk to assistant 2008. Wich was AWESOME! I just don´t see what makes her new? AI like this has been around since alicebot. Cool to put it in a phone but again it is just an idea wich they took from others.

Jobs canceled the Iphone 5 before it was released and what we got was the 4S instead so that means it was done but they decided we can´t have it! =S I think other companies is making a good move putting out cheaper, middle and expensive phones, you get what you pay for and everyone can afford it. Everyone should have their own choise and so on but do research first! I am not saying my phone is the best one it just fits me but I don´t get how apple calls everything they do "new" since it has been around for so long. @jakethesneaky On that one we perfectly agree! I don't know why Apple calls it 4S. They had iPhone, 3G, 3GS, 4 and now 4S. I guess, since they had 3GS, why not 4S, or something. I have enjoyed all Apple products I have bought, and have also never had any reason to complain on the service they provide. But I do understand why a lot of people hate that Apple is on top of every single detail, so it's good with great alternatives! Hope you enjoy your phone, whether it's iPhone, HTC, Samsung or LG!:)

@jakethesneaky working on the iPhone 5 since the very launch of the iPhone 4, and I think it is the right thing to do not to release it until it actually is ready. The bar is insanely high, and the worst thing Apple can do is to actually release an iPhone that's bad. At the same time, they had to release a new model in 2011 in order to match the progress of the competition, and the 4S was the result of that. Basically, an improved iPhone 4 that still turned out to be the best at it's release.

@TheSluremus Of course Apple products in general are expensive. And you know what, you're right about that one. The unique design of the Apple products are what makes them cost a bit extra. But that design part is all about the "Think different" slogan, some embrace the idea of thinking differently, others don't see the point. I am one of those who embrace it. When that's said, that is for the most part limited to computers. The iPhone and iPad are not more expensive than competing devices.

And I know that in the future these software types will be able to read our brain wave patterens or will be integrated directly to our brain through electrical signals either sonically or visually, but at the moment, this type of search method will be contributing towards the general noise pollution emmitted by society.
