great runner for the lions. hard nosed running back that i think will help them draw the secondary in to stop him and have stafford pass over them ( if hes ever healthy). great pick.

@graafitee4eva i don't think demarco murray is underrated... the dude would've been a first round pick, but the injuries he's sustained has definitely taken its toll on his explosiveness.. granted there's always a chance he will regain it as he remains healthy, but he's a very boom/bust kind of player

Pats need a core RB green ellis is good so is woodhead good for 3rd down but you get this guy u can change how u run formations he is a power back like green ellis hits the holes but he is very fast and knws how to ruin the ball correctly
I seriously think the bears have Running Back issues that exceed it's receiver and offensive line problems. He is also ranked 29th in the draft and curiously the bears pick is 29th. Not that it matters that much but he might still be there when the Bears pick. His stats were consistent against good schools...I like that. I hope the Bears use their first round on this guy...I wouldn't be giving anything up but if he's still there snag him.
@sevmac neither of them are every-down back guys though. the RB by committee thing has to end at some point. i think they'll take an OL with their #17 first round pick and then go after a running back. whether that be ingram or leshoure, i do not know. they'll probably also sure up their receiving core through free agency

man, he moves more like a 5'10, 210 lb back than a 6'0, 230 lb back. he has some moves for such a big guy. but he's not as physical as you would expect for a guy his size - he doesn't run soft or avoid contact, but i guess i'd expect more moving piles and running people over. but his athleticism and size are pretty intriguing

2nd Round pick IMO. Heck of a good back and should probably go in the 1st, but i don't think he runs as fast as everyone projects or believes, he at least doesn't show it on film. I think he will run around a mid 4.5 40 which will hurt his stock, but will be a steal in early/mid 2nd round.
dude runs just like Toby Gerhart who came out last year and people were reluctant to even call him a running back because he's white and this dude is rated second best back in the draft class cause he's just dark enough. I hate stereotypes. I think LeShoure AND Gerhart are sweet.
@joeshcosmo Toby Gerhart is not in the same category as LeShoune, LeShoune is more elusive and quicker than Gerhart!! Where Gerhart is more of a north -south power runner. But I can see where you are coming from about the racial stereotypes at certain position. You can stay the same thing about black quarterbacks being successful in the NFL.
@losangelescardinals actually yes, Mel Kiper, Todd Mcshay and rotoworld all have him as their number 2 back. Todman is a mid round pick and williams stock fell dramatically this season. leshoure had a great year and will be the 2nd back taken, if he has a good combine he could be the first back taken
very impressed with this kid. He's a tough runner with incredible acceleration. His acceleration probably makes him look faster than he really is but he still looks like he runs the 4.45 range. He's got some shiftiness in him as well. If he declares this year and has a very good combine, He could potentially move himself up into the first day of the draft and maybe even the first round.
Tore his Achilles tendon today, out for the season. Time to look at free agents or its Best every down again this year...
