I would not want to deprive someone of their personal satisfaction unless it violates without meaning to, the safety others. Let me stretch it a little to make a point, driving a car is satisfying to many but needs to be regulated extensively because of it's potential harm it can do to other parties.

If for example you were able to invent a drug that satisfies you the way you want to be satisfied and didn't harm you or others around you then problem solved, and I might add you would be very popular. But sadly the reality at least for now is different. By the way food in an odd way is a drug, we cannot do without it or we die but it does not harm the body.
