  • Knightfall is one of the best Batman stories, up there with The Dark Knight Returns definitely... apparently Dennis O'Neil (who created Ra's Al Ghul, Bane, Azrael, and many other characters, and oversaw the Batman comics for decades) considers it Batman's greatest story. They did a lot of daring things in this story. I can't wait to see what Nolan does with it. Seeing Batman finally defeated is a moving and disturbing thing.
