This is a MAN pouring out his entire soul. I'm incredibly happy that KG was able to win a title in Boston, but I'll never forget him here in Minnesota. Everyone here still absolutely loves Kevin, and I hope he loves us back. I can certainly understand why he wouldn't though. After all that crap for 13 years, he owes us nothing further. I don't know him, but from what I've seen of him in interviews he always thanked Minnesota for getting him where he is today. He even says Minnesota was his city also and thanked you guys when he won the championship. He and in my opinion Iverson played like it was their last and left their heart and soul on the floor in ways that will never be seen again. Some players seem to worry about how much money they can make instead of playing with heart and throwing themselves into the game. I would take a player such as them and the ones you mentioned over half of these players today becuase of their heart.

KG is simply the most passionate, genuinely spirited athlete I've ever seen in any sport... ever. This video made me forgive Lebron. I've been a long-time sports fan, but have never experienced the complex and deep relationship with the game that an athlete can feel, and KG gave me a window into that relationship in this interview. May sound like an exhaggeration, but this interview will stick with me for a long, long time. God love Kevin Garnett for everything he contributes to the game.

@saucyjenkins What LeBron and KG did are entirely different. LeBron quit and gave up, KG gave everything he had. I don't that difference is subtle either... I'll never forgive LeBron, the most over-hyped, overrated red-carpet primmadona ever to walk the hardwood.

This video made you forgive lebron? If anything it should have the exact opposite effect! Did lebron give his blood, sweat, and LITERAL tears to the cavs for over a decade like KG did for the T-Wolves? Was lebron that loyal to his team? No. And guess what KG eventually was rewarded. If there is such a thing as karma, lebron will never win a championship.

When people say LeBron didn't have a good supporting cast even though his team had the best record in the league twice with 60+ wins. Maybe he and the many others that say that LeBron didn't have a supporting cast should ask how KG felt during these years.

@SuperTonyBaloney I gained a new respect for KG after i saw this interview years ago..but what ppl dont understand about Lebron or Amare's decisions is that they may have been on winning teams but they were not happy. Lebron saw the chance to win a championship which he was not going to do in Cleveland (plus he had issues with Delonte West) And despite winning Amare was not happy in phx after coach d'antoni left. For those who dont know amare simply loves playin under coach D'antoni.

I remember watching this interview....KG had a raw deal in Sota. Showed alot of heart... he plays with passion and it shows that basketball was not just a business/ job. He played everynight like there was no tomrrow.
Dude was a beast but they would never put the pieces around him to compete. Sadly his Large contract and being in a small market affected how they could go after great players.

How can you watch this interview and still resent that the Celtics won in 08? I'm a LAkers fan and I'm happy that Garnett won. Looking bad he deserved it and LAkers got two right after that so there is no need to be greedy here. I hope that Celtics get another one and then LAkers can get their third :D
