  • that was really clever....some excellent puppets there, and the smooth transitions/animations, very clever...good stuff...too perfect for me though, I like a more simple style...although I admire the work that's been done there.....good stuff..

  • It definatley is barry bruce work

  • Pretty sure that's Barry Bruces work from Vinton Studios, never saw it before but recognize the style!

  • This is brilliantly done. Remember, this was the 70's. I remember this show, though. Thank for posting.

  • Wow! I so *vaguely* remember this that I am not sure if I saw it or if someone in my family saw it and told me about it because they knew I liked Star Wars. What a blast to see it again!

  • So, I think I recognize all the 'teams' but is that one after Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy supposed to be Imogene Coca and Sid Caesar?

In order: Shields, Laurel and Hardy, Abbot and Costello, Three Stooges (M,L,C), Marx Bros. (H,C,G), W.C. Fields and Mae West, Bergen and McCarthy, Coca and Caesar?, George Burns and Gracie Allen, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, Artoo and Threepio, and Shields with Yarnell

  • great find--thanks for the post. loved them all!

  • Great video!

  • While I don't know who the animators were,it was called {for obvious reasons}"The Comedy Teams".
