I saw Bobby Deerfield about ten times and i think it's a great romance movie inside and outside the plateau between Pacino and Marthe Keller. one of my Pollack' favs.

there are few actors that became directors like Pollack or Eastwood for instance. I'm agree with many 70's movie fans that he was one of the greatest american directors of the modern classic cinema, coppola ,Scorcese,Lumet, and William Friedkin too.

A GREAT GREAT FOOKIN' guy man! I work in the biz., (when their is work!), & have met him. He was a very proper person & one of the best craftspersons I have ever met.
This was a DIRECTOR & A STOUT ACTOR.

What kind of ignorant SHMUCK did this interview?? Dismissing Three Days of the Condor as a simple-two-picture-deal-thing!? Condor is a CLASSIC, perhaps the greatest spy thriller ever made, and Sydney Pollack was a genius. RIP

Friggin GENIUS in Eyes Wide Shut...not so much the directing, but his character in the film...the all powerful, ever-knowing, elite sadist, drug using, prostitute killer.
