I love the Trailblazer,Im getting a Trailblazer EXT at the end of the week. It is hands down one of my favorite SUV's from chevy (and the Envoy from GMC) but I want to see someone offroad in the EXT or XL models. Yes they are longer and a bit more top heavy but they can give and take just as much as their smaller siblings lol but thats what I really want to see, a group of people in EXT's and XL's on some trails.
The blue one was mine. It was an LT. I traded it in a couple of weeks ago on an 04 F250 Powerstroke. I did have a lot of fun with that thing. The 2 TECORE trips I made were great. Only thing I wished it would have had was the G80 locker. Great truck overall though.
nice vid , just bought a o6 tb, what size lift kit and tires did you go with on your trailblazer? I'm a first time 4x4 owner, could use some tips , thanks.
I have an exact copy of the black stock TB seen at 0:30, this video makes me wanna take it offroad right now. Too bad it's cold as heck and I need new tires (for offroad, they're ok for street).
What tires would other TB drivers recommend for a DD (with some offroad) in Colorado conditions?
Its not as easy to lift as you would think. The TB wasnt designed for huge lifts and huge tires, IFS is simply unforgiving when it comes to limitation of lifts. I am thinking of putting rims on my TB because it belongs on the street. My 88 4x4 F-150 will embarass any TB....hell so will my 400ex.
where can you get lifts for them? I have a 02 and all I can find is a 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift. I would want something like a 4" or 6" suspension lift but I have no idea who makes one.
I have a trailblazer too but I am afraid of bending the running boards if I were to hit something or damaging anything else. I just bought a used 2003 a few weeks ago. Nice video. Good ideas. I wonder if I will need to make any mods to do something similiar.
Just remove the running boards, it's the first thing I did when I got my used 02'. Without them you'll get slightly better mpg, unless you're really short you don't need them anyway and besides IMO it looks better without.
Excellent video, thanks for posting. Looked like you guys had fun. That is something I would like to do however my Trailblazer is stock. I do have a G80 though!!!!
would i need a lift for bigger tires, need to know.

if you wanted to lift it, just get some spring spacer blocks,a few people make them for cheap.
take off the running boards,i did,its 12 bolts on each side and can be done in an hour and easily put back on
