While I think it's worth the price, I just couldnt cough up $315 bones for one. However, if you ever have a sale, send out a notification, because I would buy one in a heartbeat! Fantastic design.
I was wondering, but did you have anything in the bag while you had ypur police buddies look for it, because it would be useless if they nstantly find it when you have something in it, wouldn't it?
It is expensive, but quality and skill costs a lot more than crap! If you buy from Zulu you at least you know that your gear is made by skilled people working under ethical conditions, who are getting paid according to that.
Besides, you Americans should try to solve your unemployment problems, and buying US made things instead of china crap would be a step in the right direction...
I don't use a manbag, but if I did, it would be made by Zulu Nylon Gear!
@lassepdsn First Max isn't crap (which is why it's a standard discussed here!) and it isn't cheap. SO Tech bags are made in US and they aren't nearly as expensive. If Zulu is selling to a small niche, elite market, they may be able to charge this much. They will NEVER be able to sell mass products however... their prices are too high. And you are case and point: you aren't even going to buy one! LOL! People will pay a premium for MADE IN USA but not a king's ransom!
@mrmonkeyman50 A larger company is able to buy more materials in bulk, giving a better price, more workers also means that the production line will be faster, which would give a lower total price. If you then move it overseas, you'll cut the salaries at least in half, giving you an even cheaper product.
Does everyone care about quality? No, and you probably aren't one of them since you compare this to Maxp...
@lassepdsn Once again, companies like SO Tech and Spec Ops are made-in-USA and have very high quality. (Max has high quality, too, but I shan't argue with you about it.) I have bags from all 3 and haven't busted my budget to do it. ESPECIALLY if you are a small company, you have to have something REALLY REALLY special if you are going to charge 2x-3x what you can get elsewhere - and also made in USA. At this point, you are just repeating yourself... not a way to make a sale.
I had the opportunity to examine one of these bags two weeks ago. It is built incredibly well. The fully hidden compartment is impossible to find if you don't know where to look. I think you could transport bolts and lead balls in this thing and never wear it out. The price isn't "cheap" but the bag is a purpose built tool for people that want to buy something like this one time and not replace it every year or two. To me the features do matter as well, nothing I have looked at comes close.
nice bag indeed, i was willing to get it once it got out, but after seeing the "readjusted" price makes me to hold the purchase, too bad though, i wish i could afford it now :(
Very nice, it sure is pretty "discreet" so as not to alarm people and give off the tactical vibe. yet still very useful looking and could be utilized in all sorts of ways. very good
It'll be interesting to see how many you sell at that price. Who is the market for this? It's too tactical (and pricey) for a messenger bag and it's too civilian for law enforcement. What is the material used in the bag - did I miss when you said it? I think obvious competition for you are Maxpedition's messenger bags - which sell for about 1/3 the price of yours. True they aren't made in the US, but that can't be the only differentiator at that price. Not a knock, just a thought!
@mrmonkeyman50 We've actually sold quite a few, and judging by your commentary you're not our target market. The bag is made from coated 1000d Cordura, please refer to the article linked in the description above.
Allow me to share the biggest differentiator. Volume. We're a very small company and can't afford to buy in the kind of volume that Maxpedition can, and we don't send our labor on these overseas. They're sewn right in Chicago by Zulu.
@ITStactical LOL I meant the differentiator for the consumer on the product, not why you were different than Maxpedition. Outside of the USA made, why should I buy yours over theirs when it costs me 200% more? I can understand 50% more, but 200% is a LOT.
@UrR2KBA Sorry you feel that way. Compared to external MOLLE and Velcro commonly seen on other tactical bags, this is discreet. I hear what you're saying about colors and everyone's entitled to their opinion and you stated yours. If you're truly after something that's never going to attract attention, carry around a cheapo wal-mart bag that will fall apart on you when you need it the most. ~ Bryan
@ITStactical I mean that I would rather pay less for a bag like this that is from a company that I know makes extremely durable stuff. Original Special Operations Gear makes great stuff.
you should do more focus on the stitching. If I am paying 300 some odd USD for a bag, I want to see how it's stitched together. Show some video of the people sewing it together in the factory too! I want to see Americans working in fair safe conditions, not chinese or indian slaves in sweat shops.
@DeimosSaturn Totally agree. It seems their biggest sell point is the craftsmanship, not the features. This video doesn't have one scrap of info on the craftsmanship. The features certainly don't require the higher price.
@Half333DeaDd It's $265 for Black and $315 for all other colors. You get what you pay for, especially having a bag custom made in the USA. Thanks for the comment ~ Bryan
@Half333DeaDd I respect your opinion, but it's to early to compare the quality of Maxpedition (which have made some lemons, you can search Youtube for complaint videos) to that of Zulu Nylon (which has had none so far).

@AndrewXAnarchy It is to early. And i bet that nylon is amazing but im just saying from a on a budget perspective i think its to expensive as could be said for maxpedition. I wasn't comparing them i was just throwing a name out there
Looks good, price is rediculous! How competitve are your products compared to the similar maxpedition messengers

Discreet is not what I'd call it.
I think it screams TactiMil regardless of color choice.
I love coyote brown as much as anyone else, but it's not low key by any standard.
I'm sure it's made well, but there are other Truly Discreet choices that are well made for other market segments.
I won't even comment on the price as others have done so.
