  • It would fit very well with 1st or 2nd World War IMO

  • this song brings back memories

  • Epic Intro...

  • Beer & Weed to fear & Wonder? Haha, I think that's because it represents the thoughts Nuclearblast had when they prepared to listen to this first time: They feared it but once they had listened the whole CD through they just wondered how perfect album it was ;)

  • was that the guy from the goonies? lmfao

  • I still remember this intro live back in 2001 in Monterrey Mexico... great gig! Those were great times!

  • This gives me epic goosebumps every time I hear it!

  • beer and weed = fear and wonder? sounds about right :)

  • Anyone know where I can find more music as hauntingly dark and beautiful as this?

  • Mustis should consider doing a Solo album....He's brilliant, amazing....

  • MUSTIS KICKS UR FUCKIN ASS :)

  • this is really good...

  • I made my violinist and classical music listener aunt listen to this. She asked me who was the brilliant composer of this, then I showed her a pic of dimmu borgir. She laughed so hard I had to take my PEM Cd to show her Dimmu Borgir really made this! She couldn't believe it!

  • @darthfener2 She's right. It's the Gothenburg Opera Orchestra. Read the liner notes. :-)

  • i reeeaaallly reaallyyy dislike satanic lovers but this song is soo amaziiiiing just wonderful, a real masterpiece...for sure

  • @TetaMajana1 they aren't really satanists but they sing about it, so i've heard

  • Im numba 123 of likeability, does this number means that i will be speechless earing to this?

  • Bellezaaaa

  • sorry because of my english i'm from Argentina, and my original language is

    spanish....

  • i like more the song "perfection or vanity" = ) but this song is beatifull ass well

  • Play warcraft to this. Holy fuck.

  • @FormationOfficial Especially with a new cow in Mulgore.

  • I swear to god (or I guess Satan in this case, whatever floats your boat) that I've heard this song before, in like a movie soundtrack or something, does anyone know if this song or part of it has been featured in something

  • I used to work at Circuit City and they would let me make CD's with my own music and play it on the big Bose system so the whole store could hear it... this was always played over the big speakers at least three times a day, along with "Sorgens Kammer" and "Perfection or Vanity".

Some people would just stop and listen in silence. Pure gold.

  • @pratikh did you tell them that this was by a satanic black metal band? I'd love to see the looks on their faces if you told them that

  • @mynameisnyhm No they were too busy being left speechless.

  • Personally, I always think of glacial mountains when I hear this piece.

  • i love that this video has ZERO dislike

    thats how good it is.

  • Totally shitty choice of pictures.

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII nowadays i'm aware of that :p (2 years ago!!)

i was just trying to find the concept of "fear and wonder" in the `best` pictures i had that time.

    but enjoy the music ;)

  • @Emisa000 don't listen to ppl :) it's perfect!

or else why juuuust 4 ppl dislike it :D

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII In your opinion.

  • @Augalv Opinion with which the uploader seems to agree, by the way.

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII I didn't say I regret ;)

     I like my past :)

  • @Emisa000 I didn't say you regret it.

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII your comment 3 months ago was a bit harsh although. Anyways, stay well. :)

  • @Emisa000 I just thought the pics didn't fit the piece's 'darkness' or whatever. But you're right. I'm sorry if I was harsh.

  • @staynoobie42 what exactly don't you like about this song?

  • bad acid trip...

  • sounds like Bambi's mom died...

  • not even any lyrics and it tears shit up

just a very well preformed song

  • one of the greatest songs ever written on this planet. no doubt.

  • epic

  • being able to write scores like this is what sets dimmu apart from most other black metal. its a shame you have trve kvlt who think they sold out just because they write palatable music and show some talent.

  • Please tell me what film soundtrack it sounds like at 1.00

    Its killing me

  • @Jamopiepiepie King Kong (2005)

  • wow i love this song. it sounds like amy lee but who sings this?

  • This is a fucking beautiful song

  • 2:24 BURGER KING GUY!

  • everytime i hear this i feel like your the last human on earth and you looking at the destroyed remains of the earth

  • @tsunami2011 It makes me feel something similar. It's like being immortal, and looking back at all of the evils and beauties of Earth, long after it's been destroyed.

  • the first word that comes to mind when I think about dimmu borgir: epicness

and I'm not the first one to think like that

  • IcH liebe diesEn SoNg...

den satz könNt IcH faSt überAll uNtEr DeReN videOs ScHrEiBeN

  • EPIC EPICNESS !!!

  • this is fucking EPIC!!!

  • Totally in love with this song. <3

  • I think Mustis and Dimmu originally had this titled "Beer and Weed" but something got crossed up when the production company for Nuclear Blast pressed off a couple million CDs and fucked the liner notes up

  • @cvg1099 lol really?

  • @ErikAssbag no course not u assbag

  • mustis is a genious!

too bad they kicked him out :(

  • @nomamesgueynmg93 nope, they didn't kick him out. He made them kick him out. There's a difference.

  • @Stouk618 how? sorry i just heard that from my brother and he didn't give me details

  • @nomamesgueynmg93 mustis was asked to leave the band some years ago, because he wanted to direct the band to a more black metal style, much like what they used to play back in P.E.M. But Shagrath said it was too unproductive for the band.

Plus, his buddy ICS Vortex had already left by that time, so there was simply no reason for him to stay :/

  • Very Nice! I love U! dimmu rules!
