Digitech whammy pedal is a namebrand and the Digitech whammy pedal is in fact a wah pedal. The crybaby is the namebrand of the pedal that Jimmy Page uses. Also David Gilmour, SRV, Dimebag Darrell, Kirk Hammet, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Howe, Slash, Joe Satriani, Zakk Wylde, Flea, and Steve Vai all use/used the crybaby brand wah pedal. Wrong. The digitech whammy is a pitch shifter which controls the pitch of the note, allowing you to shift several octaves up or down. A wah pedal only controls the balance of bass to treble in the note.
