GK has always been under-respected. In a time when folks like Dianna Ross and similair singers got all the attention and accolades, GK played second fiddle to them. She, IMHO, has one of the best voices ever of any singer. She can hit any note and she can do so much with that voice, it is amazing. She deserves to be valued and noted to be the accomplished professional she still is. The so-called singers of today cannot hold a candle to her. Wish I could see her in concert myself.

With Gladys's beautiful, soulful voice and The Pips smooth dance moves and background vocals, their talent went beyond the stratosphere. GK has always been under-respected. In a time when folks like Dianna Ross and similair singers got all the attention and accolades, GK played second fiddle to them. She, IMHO, has one of the best voices ever of any singer. She can hit any note and she can do so much with that voice, it is amazing. She deserves to be valued and noted to be the accomplished professional she still is. The so-called singers of today cannot hold a candle to her. Wish I could see her in concert myself.

Gladys Knight and The Pips just oozes greatness. They were the epitome of what it takes to be a national treasure. With Gladys's beautiful, soulful voice and The Pips smooth dance moves and background vocals, their talent went beyond the stratosphere. I can never get enough of how fortunate I am to have grew up in that era of music.

I thank God I was brought up listening to this music, Gladys, Marvin, Stevie, Michael, Aretha, Luther. Music today can not move the emotions and soul that these artists can. I dont listen to new music, I am forever locked in the soul music of the 60's and 70's. Gladys Knight is a legend

I'm sure you look around sometimes and say to yourself "what is up with T.V. or Radio? how did THIS ever make it? but when you start asking yourself WHY these things are the way they are then you see a plot unveiling.
