  • @ChefTips

Here in Sweden it is a common misconception that you get worms if you eat snow.

I don't really get the logic in it but I guess someone accidentally got worms inside their body and then they decided that spreading this myth would be a good idea..

  • I like the mini chocolate chips!

I was wondering, if trinking too much (you khow how kids are !) demineralized water (snow) is not really recommended?

  • @naxosi I wouldn't eat a lot of this, but a little is OK!

  • Awesome vids. Keep 'em comming.

  • @legendarybloodfang Thanks!

  • This is completely funny! I had tears in my eyes at the end. And don't collect the "yellow snow unless your boss is coming over!" Classic. Jason- these videos get better and better! Congratulations.

  • depends where you are

  • @RosellaRo

I wish I could answer that, but I died from eating poisoned snow.

  • haha

  • @RosellaRo

    ;-)

  • I love your jacket (looks like mine)

anyways thanks for making this vid =)

  • @MapleStoryKillaStab

That's funny you mentioned that. My wife bought me this jacket like 12 years ago. I was up snowboarding the other day and thought "man, I am going to stand out like the 40 year old I am with this jacket." Then I saw a bunch of young people with this style of jacket.

Then I thought "guess I have the original "throw-back jacket!" haha..

  • hmm this is weird LOL

  • it's not safe to eat snow

  • haha LOL

  • you're too funny Jason. Love it

    Kai

  • Thanks Kai, and everyone! We had fun making this video.

  • lol unless your boss is coming over

  • if u dont live somewhere that snows u can just make some kool aid with rain water

  • this will suffice until I can get up with my grandmaw

  • Cool video. :D. I'd love to try this resipe. Do you still have some more of your Ice cream? Hahaha.

  • just need the vanilla extract

  • IT FINALLY SNOWED! We made some snow ice cream earlier today, and it wasn't actually that bad....

  • Are you from Washington D.C? First, it's snowing like heck and second you are wearing the redskins hat I think!! :)

  • haha that was funnny at the end...

last night was snowing i wish i watched this earlier ...

    thx for the vid

  • your house looks cool

  • haha! wonderful video!

I'm probably going to try this, but it stopped snowing, and its not very much snow, so i can't exactly dig to the "clean" snow.

Funny how the customer said at the end

    "Are those rocks?" lol!!

  • What a fantastic great idea! My grandkids will love this!

  • Thanks Jason!!!

I just came in from playing in the snow with my kids....warning them "don't eat the snow" & "don't lick the snow" ect.

  • Let's take dirty snow made from particles of pollution, dust, and biological detritus and pour milk on it! Yay, Ice Cream for redneck idiots who don't live in a real city with grocery stores! Enjoy!

  • Comment removed

  • Can we just use crushed ice? Maybe put some ice cubes through the grating blade on my food processor... would that work?

  • Unfortunately, we have an abundance of "Main Ingredient" around here!

    5 *****

  • I hear you SmokeyGoodness! My grill is buried again!

Thanks for the rating and comment!

  • As do we, Dan. Can the snow ever stop???!!!

  • There's no snow here..... darn.

  • Sometimes I wish that I could say that.

We have too much snow right now. haha!

  • haha unless your boss is comin over,....

  • haha thanks for commenting! =]

  • Hahahaha! Ive missed watching videos, Jason. That sketch at the end is hilarious. I actually laughed out loud.

I wish I had more snow, but Toronto has actually seen very little snow this year. Also, Im not sure how comfortable Id be with the cleanliness of the snow in this city. Theres a strange yellow smog that hangs overhead some days.

I'll use shaved ice though. It looks like a fun activity. It's probably lower in fat too, but that's besides the point.

    Cheers Jason. Awesome!

    -Dustin

  • @DustinHsiao yay TORONTO! I'm from toronto too

  • Woot!

  • Dustin!

Hahahaha! Great to hear from you again!

I don't know if I would try this in the smog either. I grew up in a valley filled with smog. My lungs would hurt bad at night after a summers day of playing outside.

    Thanks for commenting!

    Jason

  • bravo!

  • Thanks!

  • that's kinda nasty... u could just use crushed ice...

  • Sure you can if you do not have fresh snow.

  • So, if you have snow you have Ice Cream.........hmmm......Free ice cream in norway then :D

  • Yes! :D

  • HAHA

  • haha, the yellow snow is NOT lemon flavor. i liked my last boss, so i wouldn't hook her up with "lemon" if i ever invited her over.

  • Haha ryan50ryan!

  • i wish we had snow here : (

  • ur awsome!! haha i made this and its sooo good

  • Thank you!

  • haha cool recipe

  • Thanks for commenting!

  • Love it!

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome video

  • Thank you!

  • "Those rocks?" haha

  • That was the funniest part for me too! I am glad my wife was still filming... haha

  • cool recipe ...before you try it, take your virgin snow and let it melt . I bet you will find cloudy water. I wouldn't drink it much less eat it. Big city snow makes gray water

  • Where I live, the snow melts clear.

  • great video as always Jason, lol love your endings as always

  • As always, thanks for your nice comments Crazydog500. I appreciate it man!

  • It snowed so much here that we ran out of sceduled snow days! I guess we won't have a problem getting snow ice cream here >>

  • Haha. Thanks for the comment!

  • Great video loved the end haha

  • Thank you!

  • :S how is that eatable?

  • It's mainly a fun project for the kids. It does not taste bad really...

  • do you know any good recipes with include manioc? I need a safe recipe that'll make sure that all the hydrocyanic acid is out of the manioc.

  • Manioc? Is that like a yucca?

  • Manioc is a synonym for yucca, so yes its like it.

  • it's weird to make snow ice cream in a cold season.. you should make hot chocolate with a twist or coffee or something..

  • i think it would be more weird to make snow ice cream in the summer when there isnt any snow :)

  • hahaha.. i see your point! ;)

but, on the contrary, he can make snow ice cream in a summer season made out of crushed ice..

...hence a hot beverage in a cold season.. hehe.. ;p

  • snows are edible? that i didnt know..

  • You're so funny! Great video! Used to make snow ice cream years ago and it was good!

  • Thanks so much NolaGB. Did you make the same recipe as we did in the video?

  • Yes, pretty much the same way and put it in the freezer. I've added flavorings (just a little) and used a little heavy cream if I had it, instead of milk. We have snow on the ground now and I put a pan out to catch fresh falling snow ... snow cream was dessert.

  • cute video!

  • Thank you!

  • Uh how do you find the time to come up with this?

  • Good question. We just think of an idea. Storm it. Film it. Edit it. Upload it. It comes together in only 2 hours or so.

  • Don`t think I`d want to try this "recipe" with all the pollution around :)

  • @VernnMiller meh - your getting it in the air anyway - cant be any worse than all the chemicals in prepared foods.

  • ...you don't wanna be serving yellow snow, unless your boss is coming over... lol

The end of this vid is too funny! LOL LOL :o)))

  • 5 stars sub faved

  • Very cool. Thank you!

  • you rule :D :D :D

  • Thank you! :D

  • lol

  • Thanks!

  • I love this video...We used to make snow cones out of snow when I was a kid...with soda and juice and stuff...really fun. This snow ice cream sounds like an interesting idea. I must try it.

Although...I don't think I'd try selling it. I do admire your moxie!

  • Thanks for the comment Foodaholics101!

  • I made a SALE!! LOL =)

  • Ha ha! =)

  • yummy...lol cute dog.

  • Thanks!
