Started using vo5 because of you!!! :) but doesn'e vo5 have protein in it? I use the moisture milks strawberry and cream and it says it has soy protein (on the bottle)...or is it just not as strong as most protein conditioners?
OMG!!your hair seems to like the same things mine's does.. all my other natural friends think my hair is weird too. So they were no help when My hair went through a terrible protein shock... I tried aphrogee 2 step protein treatment.. my hair has been breaking every since :( ... im really going to try these products... your hair seems to like the same things mine's does.. all my other natural friends think my hair is weird too
Thanks for the video. I have had very dry brittle hair for a very long time and nothing seems to be working to make it better, but your video has given me some hope :) I'm excited to try some of these products out!
@a1frazier No it's not necessary. I think the reason for the different products is that products tends to become immune if used too much so some people like to switch it up for those purposes. However, this is mainly theory
Just call me PJ....I didn't know that condish was cone-free. I'm avoiding cones and I thought that since the Giovanni SAS shampoo has a cone, then the condish would too. I have the 50/50 shampoo and the leave-in. I guess I need to try this one too lol. Great vid and subbed! :)
for the Shampoo ""Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo"" where is Nature's Gift in Atl at, cause i stay there, nd dat only nature's gift i kno is at the island. if there any other african hair stores or natural hair store i wanna know please!
@XclusiveMaze Hey lady. Nature's gift is located at Stonecrest mall in Lithonia Georgia. It's the only store that I know that sells it at the moment.
@XclusiveMaze Also, there are African stores everywhere in Atl. But there is one at Stonecrest mall as that I go to...the same mall where Nature's gift is located
@CosmicLeoSpirit Thanks lady! Yes my hair loves it! I wash with it every week. I would recommend you use a clarifying shampoo (such as the liquid black soap) for deep cleansing though. The JBCO shampoo is more of a mild cleansing shampoo
@igustistwinkle Poor ignorant fool....was that suppose to hurt my feelings? I will just keep this posted so everyone will see how pathetic you are and how much you clearly need a friend. Will someone be this loser's friend? Lol
I must have missed the bus on getting the big bottle of Smooth as Silk from Marshall's/TJMaxx in the Atlanta area. Found the shampoo but can't find the conditioner anywhere! I check every time I'm near a store. Such a value over the smaller size at Target! Guess I'll keep looking... Great videos!
@chinadoll2405 Thanks love=) I purchased the 33 oz at Marshalls. They should sell them at any of your local Marshalls or TJMaxx. Good Luck sis. I hope you find it. If not, you can purchase it at messagewarehouse (dot) (com).
@msnaijadiva I purchased it at a natural hair store here in Atlanta called "Nature's Gift". It's located at Stonecrest Mall. Are you in ATL? If not, you can purchase it off of the tropicisleliving website
lol "Jamaican black castor oil is the truth". I just put regular olive oil on my hair the other day after I washed it and I was surprised. It gets my hair softer than any of the other products I use:P
Hmmmm...Liquid black Soap looks intresting..am in need of a clarifyer. Also, am wondering about the Black Jamican castor oil. Have heard so many gat things about it, but I've also about regular castor oil....and let's just say upon purchase and application....NO GO!! This stuff was SOOOO thick, and syrupy, it felt like glue going on..it was HORRIBLE!! I hope there is a diffrence, but maybe my hair just can't deal with that thick of an oil...
@Thkmra Yes girl it is VERY thick! Lol! But for whatever reason, my hair loves it. I will admit that I was very skeptical about using it at first but low and behold, it did! Unfortunately Ive never used regualr castor oil but I think it is about the same consistency as far as the "glue like" texture...sorry=(
Your hair looks so nice :) That castor oil shampoo sounds very interesting but i'm a recovering product junkie so I must resist the temptation to run out and try it :)
@LuBellaCoils Awwww thanks love! That means sooooo much b/c I LOVE your hair. Wanna be like you when I grow up girl LOL! I understand honey, I'm recovering too. That's why Im so excited to finally have a regimen but hopefully I wont relapse=) But so far so good. Ive been pretty consistent for the past 3 months
@polarBEAR819 Oh sis that's not a stupid question at all=) A clarifyer is a shampoo that is for heavy build up. For instance, if you have had braids for a few weeks or if you have just gone swimming, a clarifyer is a great shampoo to use to get all of the gunk and chemicals out of your hair whereas a moisturizing shampoo (castor oil shampoo) will probably leave some residue behind depending on how dirty your hair is. Hope this helped sis
Mane and Tail is the ONLY and I mean ONLY detangler that will work in my hair!!! I love the moisturizing shampoo too...it does well defining my curls!!! Great video!!
We use the same things!! yayyyy that means im doing something right lolol!!! the only thing i dont have is the Jamaican Black castor oil shampoo, i use the kinky curly but im on the hunt for the jamaican shampoo now!! lol.. love your videos girl!!!!!!
@MenacingAngel Lol! Girl I just got lucky b/c ATL has so many small natural hair stores around the city. I hope you can find it b/c paying for shipping and handling sucks=(
@calyx0772 Hey Calyx! Thanks for watching the vid. The big bottles of Giovanni products are sold at Marshalls and TJMaxx. They didnt have them at my local Marshalls for a long time but they should all have them now depending on what state you live in.
