the problem with brittany ferries is that they are to expensive transmanche faerries go to near enough the same place and i booked a crossing this afternoon for 109 euros return

I've done the opposite way...don't you just love the choking crush..the anxious return to your car, using the wrong staircase and doing a bag loaded Poseidon-style treck past oily cables and oily men? the squeeze back into your car..the relief after the wait for the passengers in front? the heat? all worth it Portsmouth-Caen, maybe not the other way!
